Great quick fix for getting baby's attention!
When I noticed my 14 months old child hold my iPhone to her ear and say, "haiii" I knew I needed a toy phone of her own to pretend play. My criteria for this was 1) I want to limit exposure to screen time, so I wanted a relatively simple toy that resembles cell phones enough with no real "screen" (as in, no touch-screen) or one that resembles an actual iPhone, 2) something durable and safe, and 3) ideally had a secondary function besides the pretend play, such as phrases or songs. This toy phone met all 3.Aside from the pretend play which lasts all 2 minutes at a time, I've found it's my new tool when she is fussy or can't be consoled. I tote it around on the go for car rides, have it as back-up distractor on the changing table, or when meltdowns/tantrums hit. The buttons are easy to press, tunes are catchy, and mirrored "screen" is a good distractor. I hope the novelty does not wear out; it's a toy I keep in my back pocket (not physically, as it is much bulkier than a real iPhone) to divert and hold a baby's attention. As far as how it fared on my criteria above, 1) my child was instantly drawn to the mirrored adhesive "screen", looking at the warped reflection. She enjoyed this as much as pretending to pick up a call. 2) As a parent on the initial glance, I worried about the durability as this was my first Infantino product - the plastic didn't look to be super durable, but I found that it's held up to decent roughness you can expect from a baby's playtime: chewing, banging, dropping, and throwing. Battery compartment is secured with screws. 3) The toy phone is also a mini-book, where this mirrored screen flips open to a simple 4-page book with animals, shapes, colors, numbers. The side buttons plays phrases and songs that match the images on the page. While educational, I do think the pages are quite busy-looking, and may be more entertaining as she gets older. For under $10 I think this is a great value toy. I do wish there is volume control, and a mechanism available to put a loop or strap so it's easier to attach to something or carry.

Great songs, baby loves it, not annoying or loud
I have this to my baby for Christmas when he was 6 months old and he hasn’t put it down for 2 months. He loves the little songs and watching the lights flash on the buttons. The songs are cute and short and aren’t too annoying and it isn’t too loud (although admittedly I scotch taped the speaker but I do that to every kids’ toy that enters my house). My son also loves to throw it (and this kid has a major league arm) but it hasn’t shown any signs of wear yet! Great little toy for infants.

Awesome toy, great priced and good quality.
My son loves this little phone/book. This is a great purchase for a great price as it has more than one feature. The mirror, sound effects, page turning all keeps him busy while we are in the car for school pickup of the older kids. I love the buttons and the lights. It's also nice that you can adjust the volume and turn off the phone. I can give it to him with the sound off if we are waiting somewhere that sound is an issue. A great toy to add to the must haves.

Baby's Favorite Toy
This toy was everything I was looking for. Our baby loves to steal everyone's phone so we bought him this little play phone with the mirror, which he loves. So far its his favorite toy.

INTENSE
The toy is super intense and not in a good way. The “home” button is constantly blinking with bright red light when it’s turned on and the buttons are extremely easy to trigger so when the baby holds it it’s a constant stream of cheesy gibberish music as each time a button is touched a new song begins and when the pages are turned it abruptly stops the song and plays a kind of positive affirmation like “I love to turn pages”. I would return but I damaged the box when opening it. We have removed batteries from it and it seems to work better for us this way. Would love to have gentler sounds and light mode on it though, I don’t get how this sensory overload is compliant with all the health standard regulations for a baby toy.
