Needs expensive batteries

The candle itself is a five star rating. However, it is not what I expected to receive. I already have an electronic flickering candle that is called Oblique Ivory and is an 8x3 size candle that requires size C batteries. The new candle is a bit larger which is fine. However, it is a yellow candle and certainly not ivory. I searched for Luminara Oblique Ivory Flickering wick led candle and this is what popped up. It looked ivory in the search results so I made the purchase. You can see the marked difference in coloring. If I had wanted a yellowish candle it would have been a perfect on line purchase. I just wish we had more brick and mortars that carried more merchandise so we can actually see it in real hands on in life than through the eyes of an on line web page. I will also note, that with a larger candle larger batteries are required. Still only 2 batteries required. The larger candle requires a size D battery. I don't even buy those any more. The largest battery I buy are the C size. Well, up until now, that is. Yes. I am disappointed in my purchase simply because it is not exactly what I wanted. If I liked and wanted the yellowish candle, I would be completely happy with the purchase and live with the fact that I would have a need for size D batteries. See photo

I love these candles. They are so pretty at night. I have had quite a few of them for a few years. And I love that they have a timer.

This is an amazing candle. Looks real in every way. You Turn it on at the time you want it on, and it will stay on for 5 hours, then it will turn itself off, after19 hours later, it will turn back on at the same time when you first turned it on. Example: I turn it on at 5pm, at 10pm, it will turn off. The next day at 5pm it will turn itself back on again, and repeat. This will cast light shadows on walls and things, just like a real candle. This will save me in buying candles.
