Terrific Story!
Author C. M. Bethell did a fantastic job of character development and action! This is book 2 of the series and she gives enough information to give the new reader basic background information without overwhelming us with unneeded backstory. Her descriptions make you feel as though you're walking side by side with the characters and those characters are vividly drawn. Loads of action, and a satisfying ending. Highly recommended!

Relationships that come off the page
I enjoyed this book so much that I bought more copies for holiday gifts! The book has mystery, intrigue, romance and characters you feel like you know. The family relationships are complex and so well written. This book draws you into another world!
