If you want grey/black as the description says, and it's to match other items, maybe not. It is gorgeous, but looks navy blue because of the pattern. When my son & and daughter-in-law opened it, I thought I'd made a mistake. Everything else for their house in Japan was black, grey, and white and they opened a blue set of dishes. It could be me. Just be aware if you're picky like I am.

This set is beautiful and made with quality. It looks very presentable while super eye pleasing. My guess loved it and I received many compliments while serving sushi dinners.
