I love these lights. I put them all around my house so I don't have to turn on any switches at night. They're really bright and are designed to light up a foot path but I put some really high like in my back yard and around 10 feet and it illuminates my whole back yard. So they work for two good uses: 1. Safety so you do trip on stuff of and you can see were you are going and 2. Safety so if people come near your house the lights will hopefully scare them away, especially if you put them above your windows so people cant peep in your house without being detected. I think these things are awesome and easy to install. I even have one that kind of relies on ambient light because its not in direct sunlight and the thing still works! It says that they will last a year which is fine with me because of the price. I got a great deal on a 4 pack so I kept buying them. I hope Amazon keeps selling these at a low price. Look around before buying them because for some reason, some are cheaper for basically the same thing. Weird.

Purchased these to put along back patio for when the dogs go out their doggie door at night. They work great! The motion detection is spot-on, and the lights are very bright. I would have given a 5-star rating except that one of the four lights didn't work upon arrival. Before initiating a return, I decided to unscrew the back and see if there was something simple to repair it. One of the wires was loose, so I simply reconnected it and the light works perfectly now.

I have bought solar lights in many variations before, but I have to say these are the best. I live in a wooded area wanted light for the walkway without wiring. I started with four to make sure. I have to say they work great, lighting up with their motion sensors, they are super bright. They are well made and blend in with the house. Easy to install. They have batteries that keep recharging and don't need to be replaced. They are just great. I loved them so much that I bought 12 more to put around the house, shed, walkway. Good for scaring people and animals away. Good investment overall.

Received these lights 4 days ago. Good deal for the price $19.99, which since I received went up $5.00! Charged up over the weekend (before hanging thankfully) and discovered one out of the four didn't work. Let it sit out under the sun another full day, just in case, but still didn't want to work. So now will have to return. Not given the option to do an exchange, so was going to buy again - but now it is going to cost me $5.00 more....will shop around first because of that increase.The ones that worked were very bright. However, because one was defective we didn't really test them out by letting go on and off, detecting motion, etc. Hence the 3 star review because we're just "not sure".

We live on a ranch and have motion sensor lights on the house and garage, but can't easily run wiring to more remote areas. Bought set of 4 (because they had good reviews overall, and were on sale). I charged them in bright sunlight for approx. 10 hours with the power off on the first day, and hung them the next day. I can now see well at night when going to the barn and other remote areas. I also hung one on the driveway about 200' from the house, so it lights up if a vehicle, person, or larger animal is on the road. Startled the heck out of some deer, and seems to have discouraged roaming coyotes after the first week. May buy another set soon. The lights have performed perfectly And I'm Very satisfied.

Nice Bright Light. I cut a 3" piece of 12 gauge wire with insulation still on and bent it to use as a hook to hang on gates. So I have light to open gates and a flashlight to carry around if need be at each gate. A homeless person needed a tent repair and a flashlight. So I park out front a fire station and walk along the hill to the homeless camp, No one there. I hang the light on large concrete tilt-up wall. I come back a few days later to help with the tent repair and the light is still hanging where I left it. The homeless guy said it was perfect for lighting up the trail along the wall. I could see the camp area could also use one and he agreed. So ordered this set. One for the camp and the rest for me. I have this same style but other brand. 2 of the other brand similar style died after 5-6 months and the batteries are not replaceable. I think life depends on battery quality and usage.

These are awesome. I used all of them to cover my side yard where there is no light. They worked right out of the box and the motion sensor works great too. The screws for installing are terrible though. I used exterior screws to handle the elements. I stripped out on of the included screws and the head of another broke off. That is my only issue. That is why it’s 4 stars and not 5

We ordered a set of these lights and were very happy with them.We order another 25 sets(total of 100pcs) for the community renovation project. The instructions were a little bit confusing. I did turn them each on just and expose them under sunlight for 1 day. We mounted them on trails, steps, pool area, and tenis court. The amazing things is that all 100pcs WORKS. It ROCKS!!!!I was so worried about there might be a few pieces would never turn on and then I would have to deal with return while I read review for other similar products, but I guess I was worried too much. They all work great and they are so bright! IMO, It's too bright than it needs to be.Oh, the best part is that I got 4 lights for $19.99 on promotion, it's only $5 per unit. Great value!!
