Q: No instructions for oiling. I own 4 different nail guns, they use 1 to 5 drops of oil depending on gun. The manual gives no instructions.

I oil my gun the same as I do all my others with no problems at all. I use 4 drops each day I use it. And also a few drops when i put it away.

Q: Description states it uses two sizes, 1 1/4-2 1/2 and 1 1/4-3 1/2. Which is correct?

It uses 15ga. Finish nails from 1 1/4" up to 2 1/2" in length and is a great product I have been very pleased and would highly recommend buying any of the 3Plus nail guns.

Q: does this have rafter hook?

No, you have to put your own hook on. Also the way this nailer is set up the hook ends up being for a left hander. It works for me as a right hander but I always have to turn the nailer around everytime I grab it off my tool belt.
