Cheap alternative to the spektrum ones. Works as it should

im getting back into rc cars/trucks i dug my old dx3c with 20 model memory out just to find out its not officially supported any more i needed 3 of these to finish off my new cars and bought 4 just incase of a doaall 4 powered up and bound to tx perfectly and now i have a spare for a new car lol there small light weight the led is super bright (does not need to be that bright but i can tell from a ways away that my rx is still on lol) highly recommend if you need a dsmr or dsm2 receiver to keep from spending hundreds of dollars on a new radio

Small size. Easy to use. Good quality. Very light. Fits 1/10th cars. This has been one of the best I have bought for my rc 4x4s for spektrum

Works so far but I found someone on ebay selling spektrum 3100 receiver for $14

Bought these trying to save a few bucks as my son switched radios from Sanwa to spectrum. 3 out of 5 crapped out on me. Very very thin and flimsy. One popped in half just putting it in the car and once I snapped it back together it wouldn’t bind. Toss that one. A second one worked ok but distance got glitchy at about 50 yards outdoor. Another would lose its bind at a minimum of twice in a weekend of racing. Tossed that one. The last bad one lost the steering channel. Don’t waste your time! Buy spectrum they aren’t much more money

To be clear this is not a DSMR receiver, it is a DSM2 receiver which is compatible with most DSMR transmitters that are backwards compatible with DSM2. I just want other buyers to be clear as I was not when I first purchased this item. You can see in the images that It binds to my DX5C without any issue, but it binds as a DSM2 receiver, not a DSMR receiver. It is much cheaper that the Spektrum receivers, and that is because it is DSM2. The description of the items should be changed to "DSM2 Receiver".

I bought this for my Spektrum DX5 Rugged radio to use for rock crawling. I run an external BEC at 8.4v and a Shift RCS servo winch to this and works perfectly. I would buy again.
