Rothco unisex-adult mens Boonie

Rothco products wear good and are decently made. This boonie is the perfect shade of blue for my needs and will last quite a while.

Although the actual hat was well constructed, the sizing information was not at all true. I wear a 7 3/8 hat and I ordered a 7 1/2 as this was the closest to that size. When the hat arrived, it was marked as 7 1/2 but it was way too small. It would appear that I would have needed to order a 7 3/4, at least. To return the $12.99 hat, I would have had to pay almost $6 in postage. What a deal for a gross representation of the hat sizes. I was able to find a coworker that was willing to buy the hat from me. However, I would not recommend buying a hat from this vendor as you can not trust the sizing information.

Hat was a little large, but it still does a nice job of keeping the sun off of my head and neck. Its not exactly the same as the army issue "sun hat". but still pretty well made.

The size runs a little small. I wear a 7 3/8 order a 7 1/2 and even it was tight. The hat is well constructed but order at least one size larger than you normally wear.
