From someone who understands
The most annoying piece of advice I used to get as an introvert is that I just need to get over myself and approach people as if it's the easiest thing in the world. This is always from people who are naturally outgoing and are the life of the party. They never been in the situation where unbelievable awkwardness follows once interaction begins. The author of this book started her life just as bad socially as her target audience. She understands all the struggles introverts go through, that it's not just about approaching people and "being yourself." The book is about all she learned after she herself became a great conversationalist. She goes over many nuisances in a conversation and what we can do to keep a conversation going and interesting.

Just Amazing.
Completely changed my perspective on talking to strangers. It's really a skill - and it's not so incredibly hard to learn. Apparently "being shy" is just an excuse to be lazy. This book makes me actually WANT to strike up a conversation with people I don't know. Just Amazing.

Loved it!!!
Needed this book, because I love to meet people, make friends and build a relationship. I want to have a large relationship in a home, when I buy my big house and I can help them have a place to stay, because now my website is in business.

A little less than I hoped for
Pretty easy read. I think she gives good advice - a lot of it is common sense - but things I needed to be reminded of. No "memory gimmicks" - I was grateful for that.

ok resource
This book was a bit less than what I had hoped for. Most of the information in it is easily learned elsewhere. This is a good book for those looking for straight- to- the- point advice. It is fairly short :)
