Solid bit of kit. Good quality brass construction with a brass nut, feels built to last. Fitted nicely without any hassle and looks smart—really tidies up the basin. This was bought to replace an expensive one that only lasted a couple of years, after which the internal metal strainer component, which is part of the plug and waste system, deteriorated and disintegrated. This one was very easy to fit and it did not leak at all. I was pleasantly surprised that there were not even any small leaks, due to the precise size and thread tolerances. The washers provided were absolutely perfect, eliminating the need for things like, say, plumber's putty. Despite the above, I gave it 4 stars, instead of 5, due to one minor issue; drainage is rather slow, causing the sink to fill up even when the plug is open. I haven't tried to fix this issue yet, but it seems that the black washer, intended to restrict water flow when the plug is closed, might be the culprit. It isn't currently a major issue because, although the sink fills when the plug is open, it fills rather slowly. I will still have look at fixing this issue in a couple days though.
