This is a good supplement. Most people are deficient in vitamin D. 5,000 IU is a safe dose. This form of vitamin D (3)/cholecalciferol is bioavailable. Vitamin D3 helps the body sequester calcium in the blood and deposit it. Now, depositing calcium sounds like a good thing--and it can be. But, depositing calcium in blood vessels or organs causes plaques to develop... you don't want that. So, that's why it is very important to always take vitamin D3 with vitamin K. Vitamin K, as phytonadione, methoquinone-7, and methoquinone-4 signal the vitamin D to deposit back into the bones. This is important, especially for people who have/are at risk of osteoporosis (porous bones--lacking calcium). The extra bonus of this supplement is the added zinc gluconate. 30 mg is a safe daily dose. This zinc is a more bioavailable form of zinc. We have learned in recent years how essential vitamin D & zinc are to immune health, specifically the ever-circulating pandemic-inducing retrovirus. Zinc is a virus killer! It has difficult time crossing the cell wall without the help of an ionophore. Some zinc ionophores include vitamin C, quercetin, quinine. "Vitamin D" is not a true vitamin, it is more of a raw material for all hormone production, essential for regulating every biochemical process in the body. So, despite the medical community's silence on the issue, it is absolutely essential that people get vitamin D in an available form & never be deficient. Most people are deficient if they live above 30 degree latitude because vitamin D-producing UVB rays are shorter & make up only 5% of the sun's rays. The inverse is that too much UVB radiation can cause skin cancer. Supplementing vitamin D3 is a safe means of protecting your immune system & your skin. The medium-sized capsule is tasteless, easy to swallow, & once a day dosing. The bottle should last four months. Worth it!

I love the ingredients in this! And it's gentle on my stomach. Sometimes supplements make my stomach upset. But this one is good!

This is an extremely great product. It has no after taste and it is easy to swallow. It has all of ingredients to help your immune system. I highly recommend it!
