Good Product. Easy to use.
I just put over 2K miles on the car with this roof rack. Does is make some noise when empty and traveling at highway speeds. Yes. Any roof rack will do that including cross bars. Did id make any noise when fully oaded at highway speeds. Sometimes. Depending on if it was windy weather or the lay of the land the road was going through. For the most part it was pretty quiet. The bag for the rack was heavy duty and easy to use. I can see why it would be difficult to use in freezing or very cold weather. It is rubberized material. It would probably crack easily if it was yanked on too hard. The tie down straps on the corner of rack were easy to use as well. I’ve seen a lot of reviews where people say if you pull them to hard they rip off the bag. This type of strap is not designed to be yanked down to hard on. It is designed to tie off the corners. The orange ratchet straps are the ones you crank down tight to keep the bag from flipping off the rack. It comes with two but I use four, two in each direction. The flaps have Velcro all the way around to keep it tight against the bag. Remember the side of the bag without the zipper is what faces front, so you don’t get water blowing into the bag. The rack was sturdy and I did not have any issues. I was loaded with about 200 lbs. The only part of the rack that I question is the assembly design. I would have made the insert part of the tube in each section of the rack a little longer for better support. The rack was assembled with a small screw and rubber washer. I would have a longer tube and a bolt with the twist knob to assemble the rack. I did not have any problems, but I replaced/modified the screw with the bolt after my last trip. I can adjust my roof cross bars to fit the rack perfectly so the rack brackets work perfectly. I line the bracket up against the edge of the cross bar so it can’t slip and the roof rack did no budge at all during the trip.

Easy to Install, Perfect for Bulky, Lightweight Gear
Installation was easy. It's perfect for carrying bulky items that don't fit in the trunk but aren't too heavy, like tents or sleeping pads. The straps are long and adjustable, so it looks like you could pack it in pretty full if needed, and the material feels sturdy enough for regular road driving. Since I only camp occasionally and I'm still fairly new to it, I decided to start with this more affordable option rather than an expensive hardshell carrier. So far, I have no complaints. It also comes with extra accessories, which is nice since it means it can work with different types of cars, including ones without roof crossbars. The mesh basket itself does seem to hurt gas mileage from wind resistance even when empty, so I take it off when I'm not using it.

Almost perfect. 4.5 stars
Thie rack is great and almost perfect. Cons: I do with the middle extension fully connected. It does at the sides where it matters but in the middle, there at some cross bars that have about an inch gap. Not a big deal but would be nice. The rack mounts did need a little help with the assistance of some washers being the my cross bars are not think. I had spaces and washers so easy fix. Pros: well packed, no scratches at all. Easy to assemble and sturdy. The back looks great and looks like the rubber material is well built, but I still need yo text it out on an upcoming 11hr road trip in a week. Not sure if I trust the ratchet straps or the built in straps on the bag. They look okay, but im going to buy my own and not risk it. All in all , I'm super happy with this and have zero regrets. Looks noce on our 2024 Palisade XRT.

Worth the investment, not a cheap item
I was skeptical because I wanted something that would last. This rack is surprisingly sturdy, has pieces to ensure it’s waterproof. Removal is easy. The waterproof bag is VERY waterproof. Traveled 4 hours in a rainstorm and everything was completely dry. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would encourage others to give it a try with the bed, waterproof bag and all the bells and whistles. Worth every penny to have more space in our vehicle. We drive an Armada and we have a family of 7. Had plenty of space in the waterproof bag even after packing a duffel bag for each family member and extra bags for shoes and hanging clothes. Also some mosh items like speakers, cooler. Building g it and install took about 1.5 hours in total with my spouse.

It really works well!
The components are well made and easier to assemble than it looks. The engineering is actually pretty well thought out because it doesn’t whistle or growl while driving. Paint and coating looks like it will be better than I anticipated. Overall, pretty happy with it. If I were just a little taller I’d like it more… that’s a joke.

Sturdy, Easy to Assemble, Minor QC
First off, let's all agree that this is a heck of a bundle for ~$210 + tax. You get a steel roof basket, cargo net, ratchet straps, and finally a travel bag. As of writing this review, I have assembled the roof cage and have done a dry-run of fitting my gear in it, but I have yet to mount it to my vehicle/travel. I will update my review if I find that to be problematic for any reason. Some of the rooftop cargo carriers I was looking at were $500+, so in terms of pricing this can't be beat. Assembly was very straightforward. Though the included guide is not the most descriptive in the world, the picture graph basically speaks for itself. I needed to use my palm screwdriver to secure the screws as they did require some force, so it's a good idea to have a tool that will allow you to exert some pressure. There are no tools included with this kit. The included cargo net appears to be high quality, whereas the ratchet straps appear to be a bit on the cheaper end, but still functional. The weatherproof bag is made of a heavy material akin to what bounce-houses are made of, and certainly seems durable enough for what it needs to hold. I would not trust that the bag would do well with any sharp edges or corners though, so do use caution when packing & zipping everything shut. My only gripes, as minor as they are, are acceptable given the price range. I noticed light markings on the steel in numerous spots that appeared to indicate the cage I purchased was either used before, poorly packaged, or handled somewhat rough at the factory. None of these broke through the paint, so I'm not too concerned about it. If you order one of these, expect to bust out a can of flex seal (or similar) to seal up the areas around the screw holes per manufacturer recommendation. An insert the company had provided seemed to allude to the fact that people were complaining about rust, which is something I have no interest in dealing with, so I do intend to follow their directions to avoid that. Overall I'm very happy with what I have so far, and I look forward to seeing how this holds up on the road! Update: I've installed it on the vehicle, and like many others have stated the U-Bolts are far too large to fit the caps on. I've seen plenty of crossbars and I really cannot see why they justify sending such large U bolts - I don't know of any roof rack that would require the length they provide. Again, given the price I can't complain too much, but this issue is more annoying than the others.

Some small issues
This item is pretty good , it was light, but it did take a good amount of strength to put together. Had to get help since it seemed like the pieces were not lined up well. It is a little pricey for how much work had to be done. It did come with the extra bag which has plenty of room and it is water proof, an addition was the parts to tighten it which is a good add on, had a good amount of space and looks nice. It is strong and stays still but it did corrode a bit after one road trip.

Solid Product!
Great product! Worked perfectly for a 2025 Sequoia. Kept all my luggage dry even under harsh weather conditions.

Mediocre quality for the price.
Clamps bend and do not support my roof rails very well. Paint scraps off easily. Nut knobs protrude above the rack.
