Why is it called a “bar”? I imagined it to be more like a soap bar. Just want to understand what I’m getting

Hello-- Pigment Bar (and our other bars) are soap bars, contained in a jar. They are the same texture/material as a typical soap bar. As you open the jar, you will see a bar soap-like material, in which you use a provided sponge to lather for use.
