I have a huge background in supporting Agile teams, so I decided to buy this product to make a kanban board for my family. It is making life so much better for all of us and we are finally on the same page, moving towards the same goal. The ease of the board is amazing. Watching the writing come off under running water is strangely satisfying. I am so grateful I found this product and it is a must-have for any team.

Yes, this is pricey. But it works so well. Sticks great to my magnetic white board and erases with ease. Just place it under running water and it washes right off! I ended up taking some of the cards and cutting them in half horizontally and creating a chore chart for my kids at home. So I am organized at work and at home! Markers are good quality with robust ink colors. Magnetic dividers stick well. Super nice.

I use these on a large white board I recently purchased and they have been a great tool for Product Owners/Managers.Pros:- Strong magnets on the cards- Cards are a decent size.Cons:- Either the magnets for the elastic string dividers are weak or the elastic strings are too strong; I suspect the latter. They will scrunch up over night; just a mild inconvenience so I'm not knocking it a star.

Awesome product but it wasn't shipped in an outer box. The product box organizes the Patboard, but mine came damaged.Product is still good though.

So far my team is loving the PATboard system. Here are a few tips / adjustments I made to using the kit. First, I bought a 25' x 1/2" roll of magnetic strip to use as adjustable column dividers. This is easily cut with scissors. You can find it on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Magnum-Magnetics-Adhesive-Magnetic-25-Feet/dp/B00114LU8K. Magnetic strip allows us to adjust the columns for quantity of stories, based on where we are in the sprint. Mid-sprint 'Doing' has a lot of stories, and 'Backlog' is slim. Towards the end of the sprint, we need a wider column for 'Done.' We also use Rally to manage the work electronically and integrate with other teams. Each sprint cycle we print out the features, spikes, and stores from Rally and cut down to cards. I bought 3M re-stickable tabs to attached the paper cards from Rally to the magnetic story cards. Prior to this we were using blue painters tape to attach the printed stories to the physical kanban board. Why buy a fancy magnetic card system if we print stories out on paper? Because it makes it easier to manage the physical Board, looks more tidy, and .... IT folks love geeky toys! The team is very happy with the improvement and ease of use. Plus I got gold stars for introducing it. Win/win.

Expensive for what you get. I'd never buy these if were my own money...but I guess that is the point. The kit does appear to be well made and has worked well for my agile team.

I work at a large tech company and bought this kit for my team a few months ago. We literally have five or six passers-by a week stop by to marvel over our scrum board and ask where we got it. The main components (cards, lanes) are of good quality and will be reusable for years to come. They don't easily smudge, but wipe clean with a little water. The kit also comes with some bobo components (like the eraser rag and markers), but the main stuff is worth the spend.It's quite more than a little pricey, but in the long run it will save a ton of paper (yay environment!) and we never have to worry about stickies falling off the board. Recommend pairing this with one of the big magnetic rolling whiteboards, and make sure to get some fine-tipped wet erase markers.

We just started using this kit on an Amazon wheeled mounted whiteboard after reading Sutherland's "The Art of Doing Twice The Work in Half the Time". Actually, I listened to it as an audio book so I could get it done while ubering around town, waiting for appointments, etc.This is an extremely thoughtfully designed product which has already accelerated our "task velocity", what Sutherland refers to as how much stuff you get done in a sprint, which for us is a week.The only thing missing is the time estimation "poker cards" which we ordered separately, and that's probably good to have it separate so people can order extra task cards without getting extra time estimation cards.It's pricey, but if you can get stuff done faster it should be well worth it.
