I am totally thrilled with my statue of Bast (later she got downgraded to Bastet.) The size is perfect! My alter is rather crowded but she holds a most sacred space as the most (IMHO) important aspect of the Goddess. My friends all used to tell me my real form is a cat bc I sleep so much so when I started to explore the Craft more, I was obviously pleased. The workmanship is nice - it's a but...rugged? That's not exactly what I'm looking for but it doesn't look like it's one of a million made in China. There are no defects or mistakes, it's just doesn't look like something that came off a conveyer belt with a million others.The box it came in was WONDERFUL!! It's just gorgeous~ It also came wrapped in bubble wrap. I recommend this seller all the way!One thing I really like about this statue is it's size, It's just right for a small alter. I wasn't sure at first because the medium sized one seemed to small (Insert your joke here!) But it turns out to be the perfect size for a relatively small alterI do have to say that I read a lot of reviews (often negative) and while I understand the point, I have to ask - why not just send it back???? (I am not referencing this particular item but reviews in general)

The cat is my spirit animal so I bought this Bastet statue after looking at the other ones on Amazon. This statue does not look cheap like other options from different sellers that I saw on Amazon.The statue is lovely looking in person. I opened the package and it was NOT damaged on arrival. I really enjoy having it in my bedroom as a guardian sorta. I do not worship Bastet, but I had a paranormal experience with a Bastet necklace I had. I am a Feline Lyran Starseed, so I feel a special connection to Bastet and to cats. Long story short, the necklace actually saved my newborn son’s life though a telepathic connection I made to the Lyran race. I figured I would buy a statue of Bastet to “guard” over mine and my son’s room since I cannot not have a cat at the moment. The statue will serve as a reminder to me of how my son’s life was saved.The only thing I wish is that this statue was also available in Black Onyx or Tourmaline to protect from negative entities!Thank you for reading my review. I was looking at statues of Bast for awhile, but apparently it's hard to find one that looks serene, graceful and catlike, and has a true face of a cat and not of a genetically modified bunny lab accident. She is absolutely the most genuine Bast I've seen online, sculpted beautifully with love as the goddess should be. Arrived safely despite my fear for those fragile paws, and sits beside Isis and Anubis keeping this home safe and joyful.

I ordered a large black version of this statue, and ended up receiving a white one. I returned that, got a broken black one. Returned that, received a white one again.That's my only issue. The statue itself is great, it's a very nice sculpt, large is a great size.Luckily, I'm an artistic and handy person, so I'm just going to repaint it black. I wouldn't want to gamble on a return again.

Very nice piece.A bit pricey for the size but it’s the nicest in the price range I’ve found.Being actually made in Egypt somewhat justifies that, though there is no makers mark/country of origin stamp. Going on trust. It is certainly cast resin, then hand detailed by a crafts person, so it has subtle imperfections as expected from artisan work. Still better than most. Artistically anatomically correct.The unpainted, all black surface has a rather natural polished stone appearance, not like plastic. Also the solid color looks less tacky, but allows you to paint choice details.Sits stable and carries a good presence.

I felt overwhelmingly happy when I opened this Bast statue. It is so beautiful and brings good energy to my home. Something about the figurine coming from Egypt, just makes it feel more special in a way. I absolutely adore this piece.
