Is this motherboard good for overclocking Ryzen 9 3900x?

You can use the Ryzen master software it works very well but I recommend better cooler then the stock one

Yes, that's what I used. No issues whatsoever.

Is it 5000 series ready out of the box?

This motherboard doesn't support it out of the box ,in order to support it download in a USB the latest bios flashback and then grab the motherboard and connect the power supply cable to it and the cpu cable put USB on the spot that say bios on the motherboard turn on the power supply switch to turn on then press the bios bottom that is right next to the bios USB port for a few seconds and release your finger once motherboard is flashing leve it till the motherboard is not flashing anymore then take out the USB drive and is done proced with the pc build you done

Will I need to flash the bios for the Ryzen 7 3700x or Zen 3 cpus?

You dont need to flash bios for 3700x. Just only zen 3 cpu.

Beautiful and Affordable Motherboard!

Love Love Love Asus Motherboards. I upgraded from a B450-F Gaming to the B550-F and the quality and ease of use are all still there. I switched because of the ARGB header that is included at the bottom of the board. It was super easy to put together, especially with the use of ChatGPT and it is a very forgiving board (throwing it around and sliding around the case). It is also such a good deal for this board, It makes sense its the Amazon Best Seller. Just be careful when you're swapping MOBO's and make sure to download it's BIOS onto a thumb-drive so you can update the bios via usb before you do your first boot. Also make sure you're downloading the right name from the support site as there are like 3 different versions of the b550-f like the just gaming and this one that says B550-F Gaming Wifi II. Otherwise beautiful motherboard, and so far its been running super smooth!
