Excellent!
I am a little ashamed to say that I order 4 more of these to add to our collection of 6 that we already had.... Some people may say that I have a problem of hoarding water bottles, I argue that I am just worried about dehydration! I own 6 of these and 4 of the original design. I really do love water bottles though. It maybe turning into a problem that will require an intervention at some point, but for now, I think it makes me an expert in the matter. So, here we go! What I love about these: The cup counter on the top of the lid is worth the cost of this bottle alone. If you are a person who hates drinking water, the twisting counter on top will help you hit your goal every day. There is something very accomplishing about clicking the dial over to 8 or 9. I also love the metal piece that secures the lid closed and keeps the button from being pressed by accident. It guarantees that it won't leak and in the 5 years I have owned these bottles, no one of them has spilled in a bag or purse. They will keep the water in. I also love that the opening of the body is wide enough to put ice in. There are a few bottles out there that can't handle the load dropped from a residential ice maker (half moon shaped). These cups have the perfect angle that doesn't jam or stop the ice up at all. One thing I can appreciate with the 2nd generation of this bottle is that they changed the shape so it now fits in a car cupholder a lot better. The first Gen ones don't quite fit right and it was the biggest complaint from my husband that they didn't fit in his F350. These things are a breeze to put in the dishwasher and don't retain a smell. I also like filling them up 1/3 of the way with water and freezing them to take camping. Wonderful product!

The best water bottle (for me, anyway)
I had one of these for years and the lid clasp broke when I dropped it on a hard surface. So when I looked for a replacement, I was happy to see the same bottle is still being made and sold. I've tried countless other water bottles, but they all had something or another I didn't like. This one is great for so many reasons: no leaks; easy to open with one hand; easy to hold; large enough hole to drink rapidly; visibility of water level; easy to wash; fits cup holders; pretty color! Just don't drop it lid-first on a hard surface.

Drink more with a Quality drink bottle
Love this item! I was given this as a gift some years ago and I wanted to purchase it in an additional color. Lid and bottle are very sturdy. Light-weight bottle has a good textured grip, holds approximately 22 ounces (with some breathing room) and is very easy to clean. Also has a sturdy flexible plastic sealing rim that comes out for easy cleaning. Has a swing away secure feature which sometimes gets in the way of closing the lid but I don’t mind it. Note: My other bottle accidentally fell several feet down, many times, and it didn’t crack based on the way it fell. Also I drank only cold drinks and room temperature drinks.

Good but I wish it came out faster
I've been trying a lot of water bottles to find the perfect one, and this one isn't perfect but it's the best I've found so far. It's actually leakproof unlike some that say they are, comfortable to drink out of, opens with one hand, locks closed, and is easy to clean. I don't use the dial on top so I don't know how well that works. I use it daily and that's a high recommendation since I'm picky about my water bottles and have returned many, but it does have some flaws. The two things that keep it from perfect are that I wished the water came out faster - it's not the slowest ever but I wish it had a wider mouth - and that the button to open the lid sometimes needs to be pressed twice. Not sure why, but occasionally it just doesn't open but then a second press flips it. It's currently my daily water bottle since it's better than others I tried, but I'm still on the hunt for one that allows faster drinking.

Doesn't leak.
This is the best water bottle ive had. I actually bought a few more cause they get used so much. The push button latch is easy to open but has an added clip to secure it for travel, that is also super easy to disengage. I can open both the clip and the push botton clisure with one hand while holding the bottle in the same hand. Its all around prefect. It is not an actual thermos so it will sweat and will not keep things cold all day. So if that is what youre looking for check out Yeti or Stanley products. Every other water bottle ive used leaked or was uncomfortable to open, this one is perfect.

another solid quality liquid container by Thermos
I bought this because being a regular gym goer, I must intake a good amount of water throughout the day. In addition, by being in the military, I am encouraged to stay hydrated at all times. This bottle is the perfect tool to enable me to accomplish that goal. Also, I was fed up with buying and throwing away so many relatively expensive 1 liter "sport" designed bottled water bottles. I wanted to save money and my trashcan buy purchasing the cumbersome, albeit less expensive 1.5 liter bottles (hey I'm trying, environmentalists). I would've gone with the 5 gallon jug, but it is just too impractical to pour and it doesn't fit inside my fridge (or my trashcan). Design: This is a tall and slender bottle made of BPA-free plastic, with a fairly solid loop for attaching it to things (and vice versa), which fits in with many other styles on the market. For grip, it has a wide textured surface running down one side, which also curves slightly inward, allowing a more comfortable hold for smaller hands. On the reverse, it has a dual measurement scale in liters and fluid ounces. The liters scale goes from 0.1L by every 100 milliliters up to 0.6L, while the fluid ounces is scaled from 4oz by every 4 ounces to 20oz, although it can hold 24 ounces. The look is very interesting and unique, as far as plastic water bottles go. Performance: Well, I have very large hands and it is indeed comfortable to grip. I assume that the textured side is where the fingers wrap around to, but in any case, you can have it on either side, depending on how you twist the cap onto the bottle. Now onto the cap, which is this bottle's bread and butter. It twists off with ease, opening the way to the wide mouthed opening of the base, which allows for easy pouring into and for dropping in large solid objects, like ice. It has a silicon seal inside, so it stays put with no leaks when you twist it back on. The mechanism for drinking is by way of a large thumb button on the front and a flip-top lid. There is a thin metal latch that flips up nicely over and around the button so you don't have an accidental discharge of all your liquid inside your bag or on the floor. The bottle is touted as no leak because the flip-top lid has a silicon pad underneath which creates a seal on the "spout" when closed. In fact, the entire mouthpiece is covered, protecting it from the environment. Another useful gimmick added to the lid is a rotating dial on top which is there to help keep track of how many bottles you drink. Usability: First off, I've used many different hydration containers with all sorts of mouth pieces and I must say, I don't like putting my mouth on stuff when I drink out of it. The bite valve used on CamelBak's bottles and hydration pouches is pretty novel, but I not only have to put my mouth on it (leaving residue), but also bite into it, thereby grinding everything it is exposed to further into the valve and sucking up whatever is left. The squeeze bottles where the seal breaks when enough pressure is applied is okay, but they just aren't solid enough for me. Thermos finally has it right. The flip-top lid works exactly as it should. You press the button and it quickly snaps open and stays there, due to a small silicon band wrapped in a way that applies constant tension to the lid, but is easy to snap close with one finger. The mouthpiece is perfect for me because it is large (but not too large) enough for me to basically pour a steady stream of water into my mouth for quick hydration. The true test is when you aren't thinking about it like, say, when at the gym doing high intensity workouts. The mechanism was so smooth (open and close) that it did not interrupt or deter me one bit. As for the rotating dial, it takes more than you think to turn this thing. Being smooth plastic, you really must put some pressure on it to rotate it, even with the grooves. It is still functional to me. Overall, for my purposes, this is an excellent and unique design for a hydration bottle. Because there aren't many porous internal surfaces, you can put liquids other than water in there. But, not for long and you must rinse it out immediately afterwards, so I wouldn't recommend it. Just an FYI, if you do not care about the rotating dial, Thermos also makes a similar Under Armour version which has a slightly shorter lid and smaller thumb button. The bottle also seems to be made of slightly thicker plastic, so it maybe could survive harder crashes. I can't really say for sure. It is also slightly cheaper at $15.99 right now on Amazon, but only $12.99 in the PX for those in the military.

Not as good as the Intak (for my needs)
I purchased this water bottle hoping that it would be a little more durable than the Intak, but I am pretty bummed. Here are the positives: -It doesn't leak -The narrow spout doesn't spill water on me when I drink (but neither did the Intak) -It is easy to hold *while drinking* -It comes in nice colors -It seems like the lid mechanism might be more durable than the Intak Here are the negatives that I can't ignore: -They changed something with the spout. Something weird happens where air mixes with water/I get an unpredictable amount of water. The result is that I have dangerous choking episodes if I'm not **really** concentrating. The other day I choked while I was driving! This never used to happen with the Intak. -That little plastic loop used to help me carry the Intak on my finger while I was holding other things—a very important feature if you are a teacher or someone else who goes to work with all of their life's possessions and still has to open doors. They made that plastic loop a lot smaller in this model, so I can no longer comfortably carry it on my finger. I actually have really small fingers, so I am surprised that I can't get away with holding it like that. It makes this water bottle pretty impractical for me. -The purple color looked a lot lighter in the photo. In real life, I can't see how much water I'm drinking throughout the day because the color is SO dark. Not a deal-breaker, but I would definitely choose a different color in retrospect.

Great Water Bottle!
I love this water bottle. This is the second one I have purchased for myself, and my kids have them too. I love the spring loaded button, so I can operate with a single hand. It also has a locking clasp, so if I need to put it in my back pack with my laptop I don't worry about spills. It also has a loop to carry it, so when my hands are full I can loop it over a finger no problem. The bottle does "sweat" with cold liquids in it, so I keep a paper towel under it on my desk. It isn't insulated so the liquid won't stay cold, but I empty mine in a few hours so it doesn't matter. I used my last one every day for two years and the opening mechanism lost its spring and the finger loop broke, but for around $10 I got more than my money's worth. Buy it, you will love it!

Favourite water bottle ever
I've bought this bottle many times in different colours over the last 8ish years. I put my pink one to sleep 2 days ago because she was old, achy and tired, and the locking system finally broke. The bottle itself was still in ok shape (all roughed up after years of abuse), but I don't want a cabinet full of lidless bottles, so I recycled her, along with her blue, green, and grey siblings. RIP. (Some lids broke way sooner, all bottles still in good condition...if only lids were sold separately...save a dolphin!!). She's the perfect size for my hands and car's cupholder. She's easy to clean....although the lid of my old pink bottle started to grow a little mold? Strep? Feces? Whatever, she's in a better place now (landfill). She's a little slippery when wet, but the bottle is good quality and will withstand a drop (the lid might crack though). I've never dropped any of them though, because of the grippy dots on the side adding friction. I love Thermos brand, its locking system, and its push button to open (very convenient and trustworthy while driving). Their travel mugs are just as good as their hydration bottles. Don't skimp out...these aren't even that expensive! Buy them in every colour 😁
