I usually buy a xxl but I buy these in a xl. I buy it for flabby chest too. Works well. Be sure you get an "insta slim" product fulfilled by Amazon. I got hustled from a China shirt and it was cotton not spandex even though the add said "prime" the size that I chose was not fulfilled by Amazon n I am in a dispute w the seller so be sure you are fulfilled by Amazon
