Wonderful Book on the Art of Massage
I very much enjoyed this very informative book. It is a fast, easy read. I especially enjoyed reading the history of massage. After reading the book, I feel like the art of massage is much less intimidating and you do not have to be a professional masseuse to provide relaxation, as well as health and well-being to someone else. It is beneficial in intimacy tips to help couples but it also provides tips in general for anyone wanting to help someone feel better.

Always did want to have a massage relationship, w/selected friends. Here's how it worked for me.
This DVD purchase was worth every penny I paid for it. DVD shows nude m/f couple giving each other a sensuous massage. Not as over the top on sexuality, as one might think. Have watched that over and over. And purchase of DVD includes a soft cover book, about 30 pages, describing techniques. Then got on Amazon and finished my order, with all the oils, gadgets for kneedking the muscles/skin, etc. Am now an actual masseuse and it feels very neat. Even better than I had hoped.

Intimacy is Priceless. This books is another gentle tool...
I want to give this book to all the couples I see who come in for "sex therapy." We struggle with how to get them from "vertical to horizontal." Massage is not only healing, but also exciting (let's face it!), and a great doorway into physical intimacy. What I love about this book is that it is just the right touch of erotic -- even in its absorbing history of massage at the beginning. And the book is about so much more than touch. It takes trust and compassion to be intimate, as well as touch. This book address that too, making it a great resource for couples of all ages and genders.

A first tool
I bought this book so that I’d have some notion of the right way to massage my husband. He works hard on the property doing very physical things and is often sore. As we age, particularly, touch becomes more and more important and this book does give some indication of ways and places to massage. I wish it gave more specific directions of muscles, etc.I do believe that there is no such thing as too much touching.

This book is one of the best references I have read
This book is powerful. As a massage therapist, I am often asked about how to support my clients in doing this for one another. This book is one of the best references I have read. It marries aspects of massage from a therapists point of view, such as anatomical considerations, setting up a compassionate workplace with cultivating and developing your personal relationship through this practice with partners. Helen, superbly, brings to light so many considerations of Couples Massage that allows you to explore the healing powers of touch with the person you trust the most: Your Partner.

I enjoyed learning about the history of massage and the benefits
Who knew there was so much to know about massage! I enjoyed learning about the history of massage and the benefits, but most of all I loved the step by step guide on how to make the massage experience great for both the giver and receiver. This is a great guide for anyone who wants to explore a new way to connect with their loved ones.
