Resealable CD Outer Sleeves - Holds 1 Jewel Box - Clear (100 Sleeves)

I wanted some plastic bags of the type used by used CD stores so I could store CD's that came with an external note (typical of imports). They were impossible to find in normal brick & mortar stores, but of course Amazon had a selection. I measured a jewel case and these looked like they should fit (10.4mm) and they do fit a standard single CD jewel case perfectly. They are top loaders meaning it's like putting something into an envelope for the US Mail, load from the top and flip down the flap. They have something that looks like a strip of Scotch Tape on one side. You peel that off to uncover the adhesive strip. Then the flap sticks to the adhesive. I've only used one so far. But with that single example, even though the fit is snug (which it should be or the extra material gets in the way and has to be taped down, etc.) the bag (pouch? wrap?) did not tear or split open. The adhesive seems to hold the flap down sufficiently. Because I removed the peel off strip after I put the CD and cover in I didn't have to worry about the adhesive damaging the thing I was trying to protect when I put it in. And the adhesive strip is thin and not real close to the opening so that probably isn't an issue either way (unlike using Scotch Tape or similar to hold the flap closed which can leave adhesive residue in places where it's easy to get stuck on things being put in). The package says quantity 100, I didn't bother counting them. They come in a plastic bag that is slightly larger than the contents and it's about the same thickness as a jewel case so they don't take up much room. When I bought them they were "fulfilled by Amazon" so I knew there would be no stock or delivery issues. For $4.95 they seem like a good deal.

I really like these as an added layer of protection for my collection. They’re especially useful for my favorite CDs, new jewel cases, or discs that come packaged in cardboard sleeves instead of traditional cases. Sliding the CDs into these sleeves keeps them safe from scratches, dust, and wear, while still letting me enjoy the artwork and keep everything organized. They fit well, are easy to use, and give me peace of mind knowing my discs are better protected. If you care about keeping your CDs in top condition, these are a simple but effective solution.

I had purchased some sleeves from another company and they were horrible. I went back to the listing and found out they were 1 mil thick. These Square Deal sleeves are 2 mil thick and the extra millimeter makes a big difference. They are also very clear and durable. I use them when I ship out CD’s I’ve sold and also use them for my personal collection. Price is fair for a quality product like this. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased a few Japanese SACDs. These are the first discs in my collection with obi strips, and those are external to the case. I wanted to a means of protecting those strips along with the case and its contents and the reviews of these sleeves seemed promising. I managed to cause a couple of these sleeves to split along the seams on the side due to my attempts to slide the case in at too much of an angle -- honestly, it doesn't take much. As long as you're careful about sliding the case into the sleeve straight, you shouldn't have any problem. Once inside the sleeve and sealed, they appear to offer decent protection. One of my dogs took off with one of the sleeved and sealed discs in her mouth, but no harm done. As long as you're looking for something to protect the case and its contents from the usual stuff - dust or crushed corners - these sleeves will probably work out for you.

These bad boys keep my CDs jewel cases looking pristine. Have some long out of print stuff I want to keep like new these are perfect.

I bought these mainly to use for digipacks. They work great for this. They fit standard jewel cases very well but occasionally the seams rip. The fit for a jewel case with a slip cover is a tighter fit. You can get it in there but it takes being very careful to not rip the seams.

These disc sleeves are very high quality and feel really durable. The material is strong and keeps discs well protected from scratches and dust. Great value and I would definitely buy them again. Size - perfect!

Meant to get some of these for a long time, to protect my slipcover, card sleeve and cardboard digipak CDs from scuffing. Very happy with the thickness and generous fit. Only complaint would be the strips you tear off to expose the sticky line. Those things are annoying and clingy :)
