I'm giving these a four star because the little insert for your ear is plastic and VERY flimsy. The earrings themselves are super adorable, I even thought about buying myself a set! Unfortunately, two days in my daughter's ears and she wanted them out because they "hurt". There was a little crusty build-up but, I'm not sure what is causing the reaction so I can't discredit this earring because there are SO many things it could be!
