My friend had been hinting about needing a decent jewelry box to put her jewelry in for a very long time. Well I started looking in nearby stores and the ones they had were either non-existent, or extremely cheap in the way they were made and the materials used.I bought myself and my daughter jewelry boxes many years ago that were Reed and Barton and they have been great! So I got my friend one for her birthday and she loves it!!!!

This jewelry box is extremely well-made beautiful inside velvet lined lots of space looks gorgeous on my dresser. Worth the money for a well-made box. You get what you pay for. Arrived extremely well packaged no damage whatsoever.

I can't believe the number of positive reviews for this. I purchased this as a gift, and it arrived in pieces. Note: there was no damage to the shipping container/cardboard box. Its just very cheaply made. The tiny screws on the side door pulled out of the particle board and everything broke to hell. You simply can't screw into particle board this way and have the product last.Yes, I'm partly reviewing the shipping, but if the product can't make it to you intact, you should know that.

My wife asked for a jewelry box as a x-mas present one year, so after searching I came across this product. The price was reasonable and the reviews were favorable. When it arrived it was severely damaged. I was so disappointed. However, upon notifying the seller, they immediately sent another one in time for x-mas. The undamaged box looked beautiful. Despite the original arriving damaged, the quality is really good. When my wife opened it she loved it. I recommended this box.

I had this jewelry box for about 2 months. Beautiful design, but poor construction. After non frequent, light use, one of the doors separated from the hinge. The nails that were holding the door on were all pushed out from the wood, and the door came completely off. Very unhappy, being the very short use I got out of this. I am thankful for Amazon's good customer service however.

I received mine from "silver and crystal gallery" just in time for that perfect mother's day gift. Wrapped it up, my daughters gave it to my wife, she unwrapped it, and before even removing it from the box it was obvious that it was broken! The doors were completely broken off the hinges, and we had not even removed it from the box yet! My daughters were in tears and I was pretty freaking pissed off. I removed it from the box to see if I could even repair it, but the particle board construction makes repair virtually impossible.I spent $190 on this product, expecting to get what I paid for. Absolutely amazing they charge more than $20 for this piece of junk. I couldn't get it in the return mail fast enough. I will NEVER purchase another item from reed and barton and shame on "silver and crystal gallery" for not shipping their product in perfect condition. What a disappointment, especially on mother's day.

Actually it's my wife that loves it. She wanted a jewelry chest for her birthday and this did the trick.

This is a beautiful and well constructed jewelry chest. It has a large amount of space and all of it is nicely designed to hold different size/shape pieces.
