worked on older kenmore dryer
Easy self install if youre at all handy- or just watch a youtube video. We bought a used kenmore dryer, maybe 15 years old and it fit and works perfectly. like i said, easy install- if youre dyer is working but not getting hot, this is likely your problem and you can save it yourself for cheap

This fit my old Kenmore dryer just fine. Now she's back in service!
I have an old Kenmore dryer from about 1996 that's needed the expected repair parts over the years. I learned to repair these types of dryers by working on my own. My mother in law got a free, used Kenmore that's 20 years newer but has essentially the same parts inside. It was not heating and it was apparent that the heating coil was broken. Knowing that the various sensors/thermostats/fuses are prone to wearing out, I bought this kit of parts to have on hand just in case, because it's a far better value to get all of these together rather than buying them one at a time. Long story short, the dryer is back in service and works well. Time will tell if the heating coil will last as long as the original coil in my 1996 dryer.

Faulty product and terrible customer service.
This company claims to have a 2 year warranty on this item. This is a heating element for the inside a dryer that only lasted a few months before it went out. I contacted the shipper about the warranty because the return window had closed and the company insisted on seeing pictures of this internal component inside of my dryer before sending me a replacement. I sent this first picture of the dryer running looking down onto the element which you can see is not glowing hot but is completely dark and not heating up. The picture I sent apparently wasn't good enough for them and they insisted on seeing more pictures before they would send me a replacement. Not everyone can afford to have an appliance repairman make several trips to their home to take pictures of defective products inside of their machines. I contacted this company a week ago about this problem and should have just been sent a replacement with a return authorization but Instead I got the run around for a part that probably cost them $10. I ended up ordering another one from a different company and had it here in one day. Defective product,Bad business and TERRIBLE customer service. I should get my money back for the defective equipment and the second repair bill!!

Ultra-Importante: Be SURE to CLEAN out the LINT TRAP TOOB
The dryer heater element lasted through THREE CYCLES only! The reason this one did not last seems to be that the lint tube (or whatever it is called) had a huge amount of lint which I did not remove at time of replacing the element. There was a LOT of lint in there; maybe enough to make a cloth diaper. Or a baby blanket.Check YouTube or some other internet resource if you need more info. But once you have the back of the dryer open to do the heater element it is not too much more work to clean out that little "lint bank". (BTW - don't confuse this lint with the Catholic church season of "Lent". Hahaha and 😂 LOL 😆)

Life saver
So my wife was riding my butt about getting the dryer fixed so the typical guy I am kept ignoring her. Well it went out completely then I was like uh oh now I'm in trouble, so I started looking for a new one then I was like wait a cotton picking minute I can fix that. Well after a few test with my meter I found a bad thermal overload fuse. So I got on here to order a new one then seen the whole darn kit cheap. So I ordered it and when I got it in I slapped it in and boom she worked like new. It definitely got my wife off my butt for about 10 minutes until she started on me about finishing the fence. So all n all great product.
