I already had to unplug the unit *by B***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2017* I am a homebrewer and I have a popular keg cleaner that I use fairly regularly to sanitize carboys or kegs. This has worked well for me for many years but I always regretted the fact that the keg cleaner had no onoff switch and that I had tp plug and unplug the unit to use it. Although this has been going on for years it would only bother me when I brewed and then I would forget that I wanted to research a simple switching solution for it. I finally remembered that I wanted to look into a plug in switch recently. When I found this product I knew this was the simple answer. I just plug this switch into the wall and then plug my keg cleaner into the switch. Easy peasy. I already had to unplug the unit, so this just makes it that much easier for me. The only thing better would be if I used one of those plug in remote control modules, but don't need to go that high tech. In my application the outlet I am using is at chest level. This makes it easy to reach and operate the switch. If you put this on an outlet lower on the wall near the floor, or in a hard to reach location it would not be so easy to reach or as convenient. The switch is well made and does not feel overly cheap the way some electrical fixtures do. It is also rated to 15 amps which is the highest current draw you should be making from most electrical outlets anyway. Many older homes only have 15A rated service to their electrical outlets. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don't have to "unplug" components anymore. *by F***G on Reviewed in the United States on May 9, 2017* I have a 54-gallon aquarium that has a power strip build into the support stand.That power strip has the aquarium lights, heater, filter, and skimmer all plugged into it.Every time I did a water change, I had to unplug the heater, and unplug the surface skimmer so they wouldn't burn out when the water level dropped.I now have those cords plugged into these Single Port Power Adapters and now I only have to switch them on or off.One thing that is weird about them is that the Adapters Light goes Off when the power if off and ON when the power is ON. I think that should be the other way so that you could find the switch in the dark when it's OFF, seems to be off that it's lit when ON, though that is an indicator that it is sending power to whatever it's connected to, so either way I guess.Well made, two prongs only, does not heat up during use under normal load. I would definitely purchase these again and am very pleased.If you have a triple prong plug with the redundant ground, these won't work. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works exactly as advertised *by G***N on Reviewed in the United States on April 16, 2017* This product did exactly what it said it would do and required no set up or fiddling. I am using it to control under counter lighting that originally came with a thumb switch partway through the cord. This is much more convenient and I can hide much more up the wiring.. Although exactly the size stated, it is a little high for my application.
