The media could not be loaded. I bought this ironing board for more than 6 months ago and use it every week. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase. Previously I had an expensive board (with a thick pad, a built-in outlet for an iron), but this one is more convenient to me. Its weight and dimensions are smaller, I can carry it from one room to another and easily hide somewhere in a closet.Pros:+ Very nice price (about $35)+ Lightweight. I am pretty small (5.2feet, 112lb) and I can hold and carry it with one hand.+ Smooth locking mechanism (easy to set up).+ Adjustable height+ Don't have issues with the mechanism+ Made in the USACons:- Unstable and squeaky. But while ironing I have no issues (maybe I don't apply too much pressure, but at the same time I iron as normal and don't worry about the board)- Thin pad. But I have no issues with this. No, it does not move while ironing, doesn't open up the metal surface, just a little bit rolls or folds if you hook the edge with clothes.Overall: good for this price

Old ironing board fell apart!
I had my old ironing board for 30 years & it finally went kaput. Absolutely fell apart! Amazon Prime came to the rescue. There were a lot of ironing boards to choose from but I needed something light weight at my age so ordered one that is not as sturdy as many might want but is perfect for me. Easy to fold or set up & easy to store. Resembles my old one so can be stored in same place as it was.

thin top
I ordered this for my Mom and she likes that it is lightweight and not extraordinarily heavy like her last one. The legs are okay and seem to provide some stability but it looks a little "fragile", the top is also very thin as some reviewers commented and she will need a fairly thick and sturdy iron board cover (if we can find one!) this is a great board for occasional ironing but if you are ironing large table cloths or larger items it may tip the thing over when moving the item. Again, great for occ use and easy to store because of how thin and lightweight it is

adjustable height ironing board
I really needed a full size ironing board and this one had good ratings, so that weighed into my decision. It is exactly what I wanted. I will say that I did order another cover for it - a non-stick thicker pad. The one that comes with it is very, very thin and NOT non-stick. It's my opinion the non-stick pad helps the iron do a better job pressing - but it might just be my opinion. The ironing board is easily adjustable to many different heights - which is SO handy. Depending on what you are ironing or where you are standing or sitting... I love that it is stable at any position. The leg feet have rubber like stoppers on the ends. This helps keep the ironing board stable on carpet or flooring. Even though it's very stable, it's NOT really heavy which is also really important to me as I need to fold and lift it into a closet for storage. I will say that I was worried about going to a big box or other store to buy the ironing board and then not being able to get into my car trunk - so home delivery was AWESOME. It comes fully assembled, however, you WILL need to install the pad. I never hesitate to update my review should new info seem useful and I hope this review has been helpful to you!

Cheaply made.
Seems cheaply made with light gauge pipe and rivets. Will see how it holds up. Just through away a 60 year old ironing board. Same design but heavier material used.

Does the job, might not hold up for this sewist.
I purchased this ironing board because my old one was collecting condensation under the pad, and dropping rusted water onto my carpet while I ironed. I sew and quilt a lot, and need an ironing board that I can leave up for a while, takes the steam and heat, and is sturdy while I go back and forth with pieces. This ironing board will do the job, for a little while. I just started using it today, and already noticed that the flat metal panel underneath makes a pop if you leave a steamed iron plate pressed on it for too long. Similar to how a pop top would be on a jar of jelly or a metal mason jar lid (the pop for freshness type of metal jar lids, you know?). This iron does that same kind of pop if you leave your hot iron in one spot for too long. The style of legs is ok - I use it on carpet but I bet it would be better on wood or tile. Cannot recommend as an inexpensive alternative for folks who need to use their iron a lot, but it is definitely easy to use and compact for those who just need something to stow away for ironing clothes here and there.

Lasts!
Bought this 3+ years ago for my good older lady friend for her house and she still uses it when needs. Folds away to be put in the closet. No problems, wear, or tearing.

Easy to use, easy to store
I bought this to replace my old ironing board, which had rusted out after 20 years of use. This one works fine - it is lightweight, so it is easy to move about, yet it is still sturdy enough to be stable while ironing. It is easy to open and close, using a small lever conveniently located underneath, and the legs open and close smoothly without the stick-slip problem of so many ironing boards. I like that it has a clasp to hold the legs closed when not in use. I do wish the padding on top was a bit thicker, but I bought a cover to help out. Overall, I expect I'll get years of good service from this ironing board.

Decently sturdy, works well for ironing most clothing
Easy and simple to store. Fairly sturdy, although it does have a bit of a wobble. Works pretty well for ironing dress pants and shirts which is all I needed it to do, so I can recommend it for that!

Value for money game is big
I don't have much to criticize as I've recently got this and its working well as advertised. It shakes a bit if you apply too much force. Possibly place on carpet for better grip.
