Sun Essential Oils - Lemon Essential Oil 16 oz for Cleaning, Diffuser, Humidifier & Aromatherapy Body Massage, Lemon Fragrance Scent for Home Candle Making

I use it with homemade cleaners. Works very well. Potent scent allows me to use it sparingly so I anticipate the 16oz size will last a long time.

First a little background. I primarily use essential oils in a diffuser and for hobby/gift making of soap and various projects (scrubs, bath bombs, face and body oils, cleaning products). I found none of Sun's oils to be good in soap making!! They are just too weak, so buy quality oils! My favorite, by far, is Edens Garden for their high quality, yet reasonably priced oils. Check out this awesome review of the higher end oils [...] So, onto my review. For ease, I am gong to write one review to include all that I have used and copy/paste onto each variety. Best to worst. ***** Eucalyptus - I found this one to be weaker, but very similar in scent to EG, maybe 90% strength. I use this for a breathing blend in my diffuser and like it well enough. For the price, I would consider ordering this again. ***** Lemon - weak, but pleasant lemon scent. Worth the price to use in cleaning products or diffuser. Five stars reflects value. ***** Grapefruit - only somewhat weaker than EG. Worth the price. Five stars reflects value. *** Ylang ylang - pleasant scent, but weak. Which, actually may work fine since ylang ylang is such a strong scent. I prefer EG. *** Rosemary - weak, but scent is nice enough. ** Lavender - weak and shallow scent. Adequate if you just can't afford the good stuff but I don't recommend. Lavender is the first high quality oil I bought years ago, a splurge at the time, but was never sorry for spending the extra money. * Bergamot - Bergamot is a pretty light scent to begin with, so this weaker version has almost no scent. What scent it does have smells true. -** Peppermint - Blegh. Weak, almost moldy scent.

My original intent was to. "oil the frogs." Money Frogs. Asian Money frogs. Some made of teak, rosewood, some old, some manufactured, mostly from a heavy resin. All venerated. After receiving the first bottle, I promptly added it to a pint of almond oil, & also began feeding my big Dutch antique furniture. The results were too large not to noyice. Not only didn't my furniture sport a mottled look, where product absorbed unevenly, but the furniture took on that soft satin old age wood gets, with some high gloss spots. And the scent is lovely... without that metallic chemical underburn. Would I buy this again over all of the highly reviewed polishing products on Amazon? Well, yes, the answer is yes, because the product itself is being used on repair situations for some estate pieces, plus now the pure oil is being used on the money frogs. Is there anything I would suggest differently? YES. Please change out the unattachable, leaky, fragile & easy to lose pipette, for a glass straight pipette & a non bpa NATURAL rubber compound dropper top that will screw into the top of the bottle & become the secure leak proof top for the bottle as well. As an herbalist, its what I do for every tincture bottle that I send out, sealed, with its own top like you have pictured. I also send out an un put together dropper & top in a ziplock bag, that leaves no icky fingerprints on the glass & that allows the customer to break the seal on the bottle, create the pipette, & make it into a permanent dropper top which is easy to grab & use. Very nice product.

Weak, barely any scent. It must be highly diluted with cheap filler oils. Update: I did change my star rating. You can read the review for the reasons. The company responded to my initial review, and they were gracious enough to send a replacement bottle. The scent on the second bottle was stronger. I had already ordered another lemon oil from another source on Amazon, and the second bottle & that one seem to be equal in scent strength. The other bottle cost considerably more, for exactly half of the product. I am used to "high end" essential oils, where the "big" bottle is 15mL. So I think my expectations may need to be adjusted, as, they aren't equally lemon. Moment of honesty, sometimes you do get what you pay for, so it isn't shocking Sun Essential doesn't smell as strong as the super expensive privately sold 15mL oils. I purchased this oil because I use a lot of lemon, and I was looking for a cheaper alternative, because 15mL doesn't last long. My plan is to mix the second bottle they sent me with a whole bottle of the expensive stuff. I think that will give me the scent boost this product needs, while keeping me on my budget. If it works well, I will be back to update again. * Star Change due to 3 stars for the oil itself. It seems to be an average affordable lemon oil. I don't believe it has any false fragrance to "trick" you into thinking it is higher quality. It is what it is, an affordable lemon oil, and it seems to be average (3 stars) in that category, if anything higher because it is more affordable than the other oils in the same category. An Additional Star for the customer service, I appreciate companies that have integrity and stand by what they sell. Apologies for the long review.

Was recommended for legs swelling and neuropathy pain. I can tell it helps to some agree but did just start it!!

I use lemon oil products in my cold water defuser and have for over 10 years. I tried various brands some being better than others regarding the lemony odor being defused in my home. Most are a few ounces or less, and tend to be pricy as to the “per ounce” cost. I saw this brand on Amazon and noticed it came in larger sized containers and the price was very reasonable. So I ordered 2 bottles (16 ounces each) and received it a few days ago. As soon as I added it to my defuser I could see it was very watery and when it began emitting the fog I noticed I couldn’t smell anything unless I stood right over it and got within a foot of the fog, and even then I could barely detect a lemony odor at all. Of course you use a small measured amount of water in these defusers with the lemon liquid, but it appears I need to just use 100% of only the lemon liquid with no water at all. Therefore if that’s the case it’s not good deal like I thought it would be. Also most other products give instructions to use only a few drops of their products with the measured amount of water you use in the defuser and I could always smell the lemony odors in several rooms of my house so in the future I’ll not reorder nor recommend this product as effective or as a good value.

The oil is a quality oil. It smells great and works well, especially in the winter with the heater going so much. I keep a few drops in my atomizer so my sinuses won't get so dry at night. My cat has chronic rhinitis---sneezing and runny eyes. When he's in the room with the atomizer, his eyes are clear and he doesn't sneeze. The reason for the 3 stars is that the bottle does not come with an attached dropper or easy way to poor the oil. They have included a cheap, plastic suction thingy to remove the oils. (See the picture) What an oily mess---and it's hard to get just 1 or 2 drops. Where do you put the oily suction thingy when not in use? They definitely need to work on the packaging.

Ok smell. Now is the best smell, a1, drip insert is the best, amount used is less.
