eeeek!!!
Great love story. I finished it in 1 day. I couldn’t put it down. The ending was worth it, I can’t wait for Connie’s story!

Loved this book!
Killian and Reece are certainly a combustible pair. The push and pull, the attraction at war with their conscious...as secrets unfold its very eye opening and puts certain situations into a much clearer focus.My only complaint and it didn't take much away from the story but was a BIG distraction...was the UK terms that were used by the Americans in the story and even in their (Killian) POV. I got the jest of what was said in most (bin = trashcan, takeaway = take out), but I did have to look up some. I was unaware jockeys in the UK can mean briefs and was confused when American Killian said it. Also the way things were framed in a sentence like "I done it for you" which wouldn't be the way a wealthy Heiress who grew up in NY in private schools and such would ever say that.Again it's more of a distraction than anything but I would imagine most Brits would feel the same way if an American author wrote a book that took place in the UK with British characters that say things like "y'all," "it ain't like that," "she's knee high to a grasshopper," "don't cha know," "your gonna wanna" or "yous guys."Other than that, it really is a great read, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great love story with a little spice.

I couldn’t stop crying
This was such an emotional book for me.***spoilersReese’s love of her life dies in a car accident, and she just never seems to be able to move on.Years later, she finally gets what seems like her dream job in New York, and she has to move from her home in London. She meets a guy, Killian, and ends up, marrying him in a drunken night. He seems to fall in love at first sight. However, he hides it because she seems to want to be done with the relationship.Reese has a plan that she’s trying to follow, get her job right find an apartment, and go to a fertility clinic to get pregnant. Since she can’t bear to give her heart to somebody else as her love of her life died, she’ll start her family on her own. But since meeting Killian, her plans have gone astray.There’s a lot of miscommunication in this book. So much so that a simple two minute conversation could immediately kill any suspicions or irritations.Killian seems to screw up a lot, but not fighting for her.I would’ve given this 4 stars however, the fact that he screws up left and right, and she still takes him back with one apology letter is mind-boggling to me. I feel like there should’ve been more groveling. Especially since they both knew how toxic they were for each other and kept saying it over and over throughout the book that they were toxic for each other.Overall Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️Plot: 👩🏻💻📑📑📑Burn: 🔥🔥Darkness: 🖤Red Flags: 🚩🚩Kinks: 🫦Heat: 🌶️🌶️🌶️Range of Emotions: 😢😫🥺😳🥵😍Ending: 👩🏻❤️👨🏻 {HEA}POV: 👫🏻 {Dual}

GREAT READ!!!!
This book had all the popular tropes and great spice. Reese’s character was so relatable and you just wanted her win…everything. Win over her past, win in her present, and her future. Times I wanted scream “How can you be such an idiot at 45 years old Killian?”. This definitely a great “ hey I read this great book over the weekend.” friend pass along!

Dear Heart, You Screwed Me - Possibilities
Dear Heart, You Screwed Me - Possibilities‘The thought of never getting him back again was a heavy weight in my heart, an ache that would never leave. It may ease, but it would never leave. He was imprinted in my heart. I may fall in love again, but his heart would always belong to mine. And mine would always be tied to his.’High angst, Ashlee Rose has given us a story of such loss, then possibilities.Reese lost the love of her life, so decides to move from the UK to the US. There she meets a true friend in Connie. As she settles into her new life, she is drawn to Killian.Killian is an older gentleman who, for the first time, feels a connection to the beautiful Reese. From there, these two have a love/hate relationship that is tumultuous and exciting.This is an up and down story filled with emotional turmoil!

Amazing five star emotional rollercoaster ride. Reese and Killian had me swooning throughout and had me gripped from the very first page.

It was an okay read
Even though it had a good concept of age gab, best friend's father, this fell flat. It wasn't entirely unreadable but it was meh. Too much sex, hero making mistakes, girl having sex abd saying no. They didn't even talk at all through out the book. Just sex. Run sex. Fight sex. Sad sex. The talking happened after the girl got pregnant and all secrets revealed towards the end. It felt like author was trying to make it more interesting or complicated or whatever.I rated it 3 because I finished and some parts I did love like humor, the girl's pain, Connie

Dear this book you messed with me!
Talk about a rollercoaster of emotions! Reese lost the love of her life suddenly and she just was barely getting by, then she is head hunted for a company in a different country she takes it hoping for a fresh start one being led from beyond by someone who truly loved her! This journey led her to her next great love and a new best friend and beginning! Connie her new best friend, New York her new adventure but like most great adventures not everything goes right from the start and after a lot of emotional growth and sadness this book turned out to be Amazing! Although for a while Reese was starting to bother me when she wasn't giving Killian a chance but it all worked out in the end thank god!

Too many coincidences to be believable
There were a lot of strings going through this plot. I honestly feel like there were too many, and the weight put on Connie's feeling towards her dad seeing Reece were dramatic. They only see each other on special occasions so I didn't really see why the MCs would think it would be so devastating for her to find out.Then there's the whole Vegas thing.SPOILER ALERTThe whole organ transplant from Elijah to Killian was unnecessary and hard to believe. And maybe it's just cause I read a lot, but I saw it coming as soon as Reece noticed Killians chest scar.

Great Story
A brilliant story from start to finish 😊Beautiful Reece, what a feisty woman, despite all that she'd been through it didn't stop her from going after what she wanted, a few speed bumps along the way but life isn't always perfect and I appreciated the many different sides to her story.Killian, Ooh he is a Dilf 😍 I did feel like we could of known a little more about him and it did annoy me a little that there was no mention of him making serious apologies but i also realise the reason Reece forgave so easily is because maybe she knows that life is short, we're not guaranteed how long we get on this earth so it isn't worth holding grudges for long, so go after what you want and love. I definitely felt Killian was right for Reece despite the age gap, it showed that age is just a number, if you have a connection and a spark then it can be worth it in the end. The twist I didn't expect at the end. Wow. Absolutely loved this story and can't wait to read what's next by Ashlee Rose
