It is real pumice that smooths calluses
I have bad calluses on my big toes due to the pressure I put on it when I walk or play sports or wear sandals too much. I had a 4 in 1 pedicure tool, but it fell apart or rusted and I needed a replacement. So I thought I'd just go with a pumice stone since those are the bad boys of pedicure! I found this particular stone and I must say that it is a natural pumice stone that doesn't disintegrate or rub off sandy particles. It is smooth when you use it,though it might 'look' as if it might scrape you. I only use it every other 4th day and I've used it only 3 times and found a huge difference.I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has tough hard soles.

This is a very durable stone, very budget friendly!
This item, the "Dead Sea Products: Pumice Stone" offered by the Dead Sea Spa company, is a very durable - almost too hard stone. The main issue I have with this stone is trying to hold it in my hands while using it. In all fairness though, I do have nerve damage in my arms and hands. This makes holding anything difficult! I purchased this stone for use on my and my husband's dry heels/feet and the stone does work exceptionally well for this purpose. I have used this stone a few times and after rinsing it off, I cannot even tell that it has between used. So, yes, it is extremely durable! This Dead Sea pumice stone is also very affordably priced, making it a very budget friendly purchase. Then, to top it off - you get 2 stones for 1 - you cannot beat that for a deal! Thank you for reading our review, have a Blessed day!! https://www.amazon.com/Dead-Sea-Products-Pumice-Stones/dp/B00E3B4SU0/ref=cm_rdp_product

It's Pumice
It's pumice, it's coarse, it scrapes off calluses pretty well. I develop calluses on sides of my big toes. I need to soak them for quite a while to get them soft enough to rub off. Even with these stones it still takes soaking/softening to remove some of my calluses. BUT this is more controllable and therefore safer than using a a razor type tool. Only 4 stars instead of 5 because the second pumice is 1/2 the size of the first stone. So really it's 1 1/2 not 2 pumice stones for the price. Nit picky? Maybe, but I feel the description is inaccurate.

Beware red residue left behind
Beware red residue. I bought this to clean hard water stains from a toilet after seeing this solution on the web. I bought these because they were inexpensive and had decent reviews. They did remove the hard water stains, however they left a red reside, which stained the toilet as the stone scratched the porcelain. So now instead of hard water stains, I have red scratches around my bowl, which doesn't look much better. I tried bleaching it but it didn't help. Conclusion: Pumice stones will remove hard water stains from a toilet. Use stones that aren't colored and won't leave a residue. Test it in a bucket or wet it and see if colored residue forms before using.

Might be worth the money, but the stones are different sizes for some reason
I actually bought these because I got my first Syrian Hamster, and needed a way to trim his nails. I placed these underneath his water bottles in hopes that it'll do some good. I poured very hot water over them to sterilize, then let it air dry on a towel for at least a full day. I decided to pick this particular one because it was a "two pack" and I'll probably use the second one for myself (I bought another "buy one get one" pumice stone at the same time to compare) The...bubbling? Isn't even all around. One area has deep pockets while another has several tiny bubbles. I don't know what that says about the product or seller, but it'll be interesting to try out I suppose. Also, they're two completely differently sized pieces. One is definitely thicker than the other.
