The meteor tunnel tent is designed with two identical poles for a quick and easy pitch. The tent is perfect for those adventurers who require features such as tension band system, and gothic arch poles which add stability in bad weather. This structure increases the run off for snow and rain, as well as reduce the amount of stress across the poles. Ideal for weekend wild camps, and longer back packing expeditions due to the impressive space-to weight-ratio.

Very nice tent
Solid tent. Took it on a 3 day camping trip and It held up nicely. The rain fly sets up first, then you clip on the actual tent to the fly, but after that it is very fast to put up

Solid tent!
Can't beat this tent for the price! Super quality... A little heavy for backpacking but for winter months this is a beast... I have had no condensation at all with the double wall design and the venting is just enough. Solid tent!

Stood up well in true storm conditions
I have now managed to test this tent out to it's full potential on Red Screes summit last night. It stood up well to Gael Force winds and heavy rain, proper storm conditions. I remained 100% dry and temperature was no problem. My only qualm is it could be difficult to put up during storm but I suppose you could say that about a lot of Tents. My advice would be to practice and familiarise yourself with the tent before proper use. For quicker erection I leave inner and outer sheets connected.A big plus point with this tent is the Carrie bag it comes with, quickly roll the tent up, shove in the bag and tighten the straps, this made packing away easy even in gale force winds.

Alta calidad a precio accesible

Decent tent for the price...however...
A few things you should know. First thing you should remember is that this is a cheap tent. It's price point immediately puts it out of contention with other more noted brands. If you are looking for a few camps a year then you get what you pay for. If you are a regular camper you may find this a little too cheap for your needs. This is not a two person tent by any means. It's a one person plus room to exist. Two people trying to live in here will be cramped and result in a very long, quiet ride home afterwards. Next is the setup time. Because it's a tunnel style tent it's not free standing like a traditional dome and it has twice as many peg points to deal with. In a setup race with a friend of mine in his cheapie Rio Rand dome tent I was shamed by at least 15 minutes of fiddling about. For winter camping this tent does not vent very well and there was a fair amount of frost on the inside after a -15c night. Any tent will do this but it seemed a bit more than what I would expect. Last is the outer shell. It does not come all the way to the ground and there is the possibility of getting splashback along the inner part of the tent. The clasps and zippers are average quality but don't look like they would last more than a few seasons. So the positives are the design is good for wind with the shape and very handy tightening straps the cinch the whole tent tight when things get windy. It's long enough for a 6 ft person but only just and it has cables and ties that are reflective and easy to see while stumbling around camp. The front vestibule is pretty large and great for storing gear away from the elements. It's also extremely light all things considered and makes a good backpacking tent. Overall it's not perfect but it's good for the price. If you want more, you gotta pay more.
