Why does this product get hard in the container? I have to scrape it out. It does not stay powdery.

I assume it is humidity. It absorbs water so readily that it’s the natural consequence of water in the air, and then it hardens. I don’t think it destroys the effectiveness of the product. It can be made back into powder in a blender or food processor. Because it’s all natural it contains no anti-caking agents.

what comes with this, two 1lb containers??? what is the total weight of powder if i buy this???

Yes, you get two 1 pound containers - the top picture shows this with a picture of a labeled 1 pound container, then a small inset in the top right corner that says "2 pack". In general. Amazon's descriptions seem to be getting sloppier these days, my pet peeve is describing the BOX it comes in instead of anything USEFUL like the dimensions of the actual PRODUCT.

It's powder. Vegetable capsule is made of vegetable cellulose. Not sure why it's listed in the ingredients. Maybe they ground vegetable capsules and added it to the konjac powder.
