This is my first tongue drum so I considered going for the tiny 6” drum so I could get used to playing it and decide whether or not I like it for the holistic therapy work I do, but at the last minute I decided to throw caution to the wind and get the larger version. It definitely helped that it was on sale. From the diverse color options, sizes and other add-ons it was a tough choice of which one to go with. I ended up getting the black or dark gray with gold number emblems on it and extras included in the package. My ONLY gripe, and I must say I was a bit surprised and mildly let down — the digits on each key came with tape over them which I figured was to protect them in its packaging, so when I pulled it out I went to start removing the tape. To my surprise the digit came off with it! I thought “so you mean to tell me they couldn’t find a more aesthetically pleasing way to number the keys?!” Apparently not. In the grand scheme of things, that really doesn’t matter. It’s meant to be played, not model for the music instrument version of Vogue. That which it’s supposed to do it does beautifully. The sound is full, strong, and long lasting. I’m looking forward to seeing the music I can eject from this lovely piece. Would definitely recommend 👍 And keep in mind when considering what size - bigger is better. ;]

Such a gorgeous drum! Well made and sounds great! It came with every thing stated - the drum with the crocheted liner, 2 sets of drum sticks, music sheets, carrying case, finger covers for hand playing, cleaning cloth and extra number stickers. I would definitely recommend, especially for the price! I covered everything in the video, but it definitely sounds much better in person than on camera! The only thing I wish would be that they could be numbered differently cuz the stickers are already peeling upon opening. Granted I haven't seen any with an alternative way of labeling each note. Although it does come with an extra set of stickers, I imagine it wouldn't take long for those to peel either. I will most likely end up taking them off all together.

We've had fun playing with this. I plan to leave it out for anyone to play on it. Good entertainment. It comes with a nice case, different drum sticks and instructions on music to play. Solid and very pretty too Maybe I'll actually learn to play something 🤔.

I bought this for my grandson. However, I have not given it to him because I’ve had so much fun with it myself! The tones are beautiful. The only thing I don’t like about it are the press on note numbers on the top. They look cheap, but the instrument itself and the sticks are very well crafted. This instrument will last a lifetime I think. I love the dark blue color that I purchased. I also think the price point is accurate for its quality. I would highly recommend.

I absolutely love this drum after it gets tuned it sounds beautiful. If you have a hard time with instruments but love music and want to get something this is number one

I absolutely adore this Steel tongue drum. It was a gift from my daughter and I have already learned 10 songs and it brings me so much joy. It’s also very relaxing and meditative. I would 100% recommend.

Get what you pay for with this. One note is off and bent, one is slightly bent. The lower tones don’t resonate too well, finger playing doesn’t work unless I’m doing it wrong, with my hand or the tap rings. Mallets work great. Still makes good tones despite any imperfections. I bought this one to see if I liked the hand drum, and I do and it’s fun to just make sound with. So it’s worth the price to me so far just playing it once as it brought me joy and a smile. Plus I love the moss green color. Finish is good too.

This tongue drum is simply amazing and I'm so happy with this purchase. I find just playing all the different tongue/tone combinations so relaxing and calming. When playing it the tone vibrations are strong and have such a wide range of sounds. In addition, It's simply beautiful with the rope gold and twine braid around it. I would definitely buy it again if needed and is high quality with the tone being perfect for meditation. It makes me happy just to play it.. I highly recommend this product. Thank you👌
