What I like about these..These valves I wish I knew existed when I started 6 months ago in my career. Every single time I take my service hoses off the service valves high and low side, I had refrigerant loss due to the shraeder core being depressed. That included putting on my service hoses. I can now put this valve on and zero refrigerant loss. I also used them on pulling a vacuum. The only issue I saw was that the connection to the service valves is very finicky as it relates to keeping a tight seal. Make sure that they are good and tight then add your service hoses. One negative and it needs to be said, they are 1/4 inch female so in order to service non-horizontal units, you need to buy double. That gives you a pair of 1/4 inch valves and valves that will fit your horizontal units. Best money that you will ever spend for sure. My trainers service valves were covered in refrigerant after he removed his hoses. Mine were spotless! Spend the money and buy these.
