Used the stripes horizontally
I used this on my French door's window with the stripes running horizontally, to look like the 2" blinds in the adjacent window. Since it's 48" wide (which was 48" tall when turned horizontal), I had to butt two pieces on the window. I did that by placing a shaded stripe next to a clear stripe. It turned out great; you can't see the seam. It really looks like blinds!
