Dulls floor and attracts grime
Horrible product. Wanted to get some shine on my bamboo floors. After the first application, the floors looked slightly better. But when we used the Bona cleaner for spot cleaning, it seemed to erode the Refresher and makes my floors look mottled with areas of streaks and spots. Note: In the photos, light reflecting off the mottled and spotted areas.

Good-with caveat
This product requires LIBERAL application. If you don't use enough, your floors will look streaky and dull in spots. With that said, once you get the application levels correct (basically more product than you think you should use) the results are very nice. I use them on my engineered wood to refresh the shine every few months. I have dogs and they tend to scratch/mar/dull parts of my floor where the sunlight brings out the blemishes. This product will mask some of the scratches and protect my floors from further wear. The Caveat- after you use it once, you will need to use it forever. The poly will not wear evenly, and will scratch much easier than the aluminum oxide coating on the pre-fab floor. However, this is not an issue as long as you don't mind putting down another coat. Once the product has been on the floor in high traffic areas for a month or two, you will notice milky white scratches on the surface, as well as very fine cobweb scratches (like a car clearcoat) in the poly if it gets hit with sunlight. Like I said, add another coat and it looks perfect for a while, rinse and repeat. Best for light colored floors as the fine scratches won't be noticeable.Update: Using certain types of floor cleaners causes this stuff to fail. I was using "Method" hardwood floor cleaner and one of the ingredients must be ammonia based. It basically dissolved the floor refresher and turned it into a rough, cloudy mess. On the other hand, WINDEX will take this off of the floor completely. After a few hours of spraying and scrubbing with standard blue windex, the entire coat is now off of my floor. Take that as you will. I would use ONLY on very dull floors.

Hardwood Floor Sparkles
The Refresher truly "refreshes" the hardwood floors and makes them look really good with a shine! Following instructions on the label, you can't go wrong! The last time I used the product was 2 years ago and found that that is about as long as it lasts, however, heavier traffic spots started to dull sooner. It's those heavier traffic spots that I did a second application this time.

Great product
I like Murphy's oil soap for my hardwood floors, but it did leave a residue. Vinegar was recommended, I HATED it!! Dull, icky floors. Google search revealed Bona. I tried the cleaner and refresher. The refresher is a little stinky but Super Shiney floors!! Love this product line!!

Quick fix.
I use this product in a high end resort. They have wooden floors everywhere and are open year round. The pro refresher is a nice maintenance product when recoating with polyurethane is not an option. Just make sure the floor is as clean as possible, then apply the refresher and scuff marks are gone and it leaves a nice low luster shine. It does not replace the ploy finish but makes it look good for awhile longer and is ready to use in a few hours. It is also recoatable with poly later on.
