GORILLA Heavy Duty Fast Drying Wall Repair Spackling & Primer, 16 fl oz

I got this on a whim. The 1st time i tried it, i was not impressed. It was too dry and hard to spread. Still I start what I finish and I patched a decent size drywall hole. I went back the next day and checked on it. What i found was amazing, the whole was totally patched, the spackle didnt shrink and it was so smooth, I couldnt hope to have replicated it with joint compound. The next time I used it, I added some water to a spoonfull of spackle and mixed it. It basically turned into soup. I added more spackle, and more and more until finally i had the entire container mixed with the water......... and it was still too runny. I left it to airdry an hour and it became usable again. The point of that story is if you add water its much easier to work with. But add it a couple drops at a time. If you add a shotglass worth itll be like cloudy water.

Great product, good consistency, easy to work with and dried quickly. Patch was extremely solid and spackle took very well to the mesh outside and the metal square was solid. End result came out better than I could have imagined. Gorilla is always solid and they have done it again with this one.

A must-have for every household. This product should offer a variety of sizes and color options, making it ideal for touch-ups. It is user-friendly, with a smooth texture and easy application.

It worked wonders on covering holes and gouges while renovating my laundry room. Quickly fills in holes, fixes corners, all without sanding as much as regular dry wall mud and taping. Excellent product, with the exception that it dries up to fast after opening the container.

Filled a dozen anchor holes in the hallway after we rearranged the picture frames, and having the primer mixed in meant one coat and no flashing when we painted over it. It goes on pink and turns white when it's ready to sand, which takes the guessing out of it. The little putty knife and sanding pad in the kit are fine for small holes. Don't expect it to bridge anything bigger than a quarter in one pass.

Pros: Dries very hard, holds up great, good value, great for nail or screw patches... maybe quarter size patches. Cons: Very fluffy, can be messy to apply, needs some effort to get it to stick in place, horrible for ceiling patch jobs (because it's not easy to apply, fluffy and falls off scraper = makes a mess), doesn't stick to paint at all well when using a mesh patch (hard to get clean edges around mesh patch square), takes work to get it smooth with sanding, very very dusty when sanding... mind you that you can buy competitors brand that's made to be dust free when sanding.

Easy to use, follow the instructions, quality product for anyone to use. The metal mesh helped plenty and once you add the sparkling wait 20 minutes. Easy!

Works well to patch holes that you can then paint over. But even if you seal the lid it will dry out after a few months. I had quite a bit left over and it is hard as a rock...which is probably how it supposed to be when put into a hole in the wall. Trying to add water to see if it will soften up but likely will just buy another. Gave it 5 stars because it worked exactly as intended. Just wish the rest would preserve a little longer.

Wrong description, inside box only 1 patch, wastage of time and Money, no recommend.

The plaster is a mess. It doesn’t stick to the wall at all.
