Shipping awful *by on Reviewed in Canada 14 March 2026* Cards good. Shipping awful ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Expensive but it totally changed my opinion of the game (for the better) *by on Reviewed in the United States 3 July 2024* I played the core set by itself a few times with the "starter" decks in the Learn to Play guide and wasn't impressed. I mildly had fun when I won and had no fun when I didn't. The game then sat on my shelf and I regretted buying it. Then I watched some videos and bought this Elves starter deck, played on "easy" mode, and actually had fun. My opinion changed so much that I went ahead and bought the other starter decks, 2 saga expansions, 2 deluxe expansions and their hero expansions, and even paid too much for the out-of-print Khazad-Dum expansion (bought elsewhere). It even changed my opinion of Fantasy Flight LCGs and I bought Arkham Horror the Card Game and a bunch of its expansions, as well as paying way too much for the out-of-print Warhammer 40,000 Conquest LCG. So in the end, it was even more expensive than just the cost of this starter deck... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth it *by on Reviewed in Canada 21 August 2026* Awesome selection of cards to add to the collection! ## Frequently Bought Together - The Lord of the Rings The Card Game Elves of Lorien STARTER DECK - Cooperative Adventure Game, Strategy Game, Ages 14+, 1-4 Players, 30-120 Min Playtime, Made by Fantasy Flight Games - The Lord of the Rings The Card Game Defenders of Gondor STARTER DECK - Cooperative Adventure Game, Strategy Game, Ages 14+, 1-4 Players, 30-120 Min Playtime, Made by Fantasy Flight Games - The Lord of the Rings The Card Game Riders of Rohan STARTER DECK - Cooperative Adventure Game, Strategy Game, Ages 14+, 1-4 Players, 30-120 Min Playtime, Made by Fantasy Flight Games --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/416219106-lotr-lcg-starter-deck-elves-of-lorien](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/416219106-lotr-lcg-starter-deck-elves-of-lorien) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
