Would it be too hard for a 6 year old?

I think it would take a couple rounds of getting used to for him. Some of the cards might be more complex so you can easily take them out of the game to simplify it more if needed.

Did anyone else receive their poo-apocalypse game box w/ cards only on one side even though there’s two spots for the card deck in the box?

Exactly! They make it that way for extra space. We like to store both expansions in our game box (just cause I’m a neat freak).

Can you buy 2 packs and play 8 players?

Great question! This will work, but you'll have to remove two cards from one deck (prune juice and stool sample). Otherwise, if you're wanting more fun cards and game mechanics, you can get both of the expansions (Number 2 & Magic the Splattering) to increase to 8 players.
