ReptoTreat Supplemental Turtle Food Sticks with Krill Meal, 2.18 oz

I was a little annoyed at the 2 bottle minimum purchase as I wasn’t sure if my baby snapping turtle would even like this food. But I went ahead and chanced it. Let’s start by saying, my turtle loves this food. It has a few checks on the pro list. First, my turtle likes it. Second, the bottles are twice the size as the regular sizes I normally get from Tetra. Plus the price wasn’t very expensive either. So now I’m not annoyed at all by the 2 bottle minimum. Let me add that this food softens up very quickly when dropped in the water so it’s pretty easy for a turtle to eat. The pellets are also about 2 to 3 times thicker than the normal stick foods that Tetra offers, so even though this is a plus in my book, it may be important to know if you have a new born hatchling that these pellets may be the too large for them. Now, since these are red in color, the turtle seems to target them pretty quickly. Everything about this food is good. I seriously couldn’t find anything bad about this ReptoTreat Suprema. I would definitely suggest buying this to others that have young turtles. Something I think I should touch base on here, is that I hear about a lot of people buying some of these food treats and considering it to be a main staple in their turtles food source. These should not be a main food source for your turtle. Foods like this should only be given a couple days a week in exchange for their main food source. If you want a healthy turtle, you need to get an actual food for them, and a few different types of this bottled foods from different brands and different flavors. Mix it up. Give your turtle a nice selection of foods and treats. You should try the ( Flukers Dried insects). They have a few different types, and are priced pretty low for how much you get in a bottle. Fluval also makes a baby turtle food that is pretty good, though not as good priced. I tend to buy up multiple brands and test them all out. My snapper never knows what he will get from day to day. I try to keep him wondering what’s on the menu daily. Listen, give them a nice home, and a nice selection of healthy foods. I’m sure they like a diverse diet as much as we do.

He LOVES these and will eat them pretty much non stop. He’s always doing little finger waves at them before eating them and begging for more. They are each for him to chew and practically just bite sized. The only major downside to these is that they have a tendency to dye the water a light tint of orange if you feed the treats in their main tank. This means I usually have to remove my guy and feed him in a separate tank to avoid wrecking his water clarity. I wish they sold larger sizes of these.

This has been excellent turtle food for my red eared slider. I've had him for years and he as always eaten this food. They can sometimes be temperamental about eating the same thing every day, however he always ate this food. It's a godo price and perfect size for feedings. 5 stars.

The TetraFauna ReptoTreat Suprema is my turtle’s favorite snack. He gets so excited every time I drop some in the tank. It’s a great quality treat that adds variety to his regular diet.

Well I just sprinkled on like 7 of these and walked out of my room and when I came back everything was gone!! My stinkpot turtle (Squirtle) just tore these up, she is a bit of a picky eater, she was wild caught by a neighbor down in Louisiana and I've tried feeding her some of my leopard geckos live mealworms and crickets cuz I want her to put some weight on but she won't touch live food so I've been researching foods to give to her when I noticed she has really been liking the Flukers brand red colored food pellets over her regular green colored pellets ( I have literally 8 different food choices for her not counting this kind) so needless to say I went for this since it seemed to be good quality and was red, sure glad I got them cuz she loves them!! I would def recommend these and will continue to feed Squirtle this as well as other stuff to make sure she has a good choice of different food to eat!

Este alimento les encantó a las tortugas. Lo malo es que si lo combino con el alimento tradicional, ya no lo quieren, por eso opté por servir los palitos primero y después este alimento o de plano, servir este alimento en una cantidad mínima. Lo que no me gustó es que tiene mucho colorante y la piel de mis 🐢 se pone naranja, pensé que estaban heridas y después vi que era por el alimento. Lo malo es que es muy caro para la cantidad.

A mis tortugas les encantan, están muy sanas y crecieron súper rápido con este alimento

Este alimento es el único que mi tortuga acepta, es muy bueno. Todas las latas llegaron bien cerradas.

Llegó sellado y sin detalles, tiene buena fecha de caducidad

Es un buen producto, alimento de calidad y dieta balanceada, pero el agua queda amarilla o turbia muy rápido, debo cambiarla muy seguido. Ensucia el ambiente muy rápido y apesta demasiado, me imagino por todo el contendido que trae.
