Marie Force offers up another satisfying and sexy romance in Every Little Thing
*Just in case readers haven’t seen the information on Marie Force’s Butler, Vermont series; this is a continuation of her popular Green Mountain series; Marie chose to part company with the publisher of the GM series and is opting to self-publish the rest of the books which will include stories for the remaining Abbott siblings as well as their Coleman cousins.Sometimes a story is a bit too perfect and that is my problem with Every Little Thing. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the characters, the setting (as always), and even the romance between two very deserving people but it felt too easy. I enjoyed this book thoroughly; as always Ms. Force’s writing was strong and sure and while I’m not a fan of overly angst filled books, I do feel that some conflict is needed to give a story that added punch and this book was missing that. It’s been apparent in the few times we’ve seen Grayson Coleman in books past that he was struggling with the way his life was going and planning to make some changes and in Every Little Thing, we find that he’s left his Boston law practice and has moved home to Butler, Vermont and plans to start his own practice there was well as work as legal counsel for the family business, what he doesn’t count on is a precocious 9 year old girl, Simone, or her beautiful mother, Emma stealing his heart.I don’t know which story I enjoyed more; the romance and budding love between Grayson and Emma or the friendship/pseudo father-daughter relationship between Grayson and Simone. Both were so important to this story and showed that despite the fact that Grayson had helped raise his younger siblings when his father abandoned their family when he was only 16 and he never thought he’d want children of his own that when the right people come into your life your vision for yourself changes. I did enjoy watching these three form a bond. Grayson and Emma’s relationship moved at the speed of light and while their attraction was evident from the start, for me it felt a bit out of character for Emma. Emma’s daughter Simone stole many scenes and the fact that Simone was comfortable enough to always speak her mind to Grayson, showed a level of trust that isn’t always there when a single parent brings someone in to their lives.Emma and Simone live in New York and Grayson had just left Boston to relocated to Vermont was built up as a bit of a problem, but in all honesty in never really materialized. In fact these two seemed to have their very own Fairy Godmother (or maybe Fairy Grandfather and Uncle) and a whole team of wish granting mice to clear the way for everything to fall in place nice and neat; albeit a little too nice and neat for me.Marie Force offers up another satisfying and sexy romance in Every Little Thing and I for one am extremely excited that this series will continue for a good, long time.Review copy provided for a voluntary review.

Worth a whole lot more than 5 stars!!!!
I got hooked years ago when Marie Force first came out with the Gansett series. So far I've read 43 books written by her, and I have yet to be disappointed. I've read the 'Treading Water' series, 'Gansett Island', and even a half a dozen or so of the 'Fatal' series, before jumping into this one. Treading wWater was okay, but I didn't like the fact that the main character walked away from his family like he did. The Fatal series was really good too, but it seemed everyone was rich, or married into a rich family---and as much as I wish I could---I just couldn't relate to the cast of characters like I did with the Gansett series.I think I fell in love with her Gansett Series mainly because it's all about people who feel so real to me. And they aren't perfect, or even rich by any means, either. (Okay, there are a few wealthy people in the series, but not too many) They also seem to have been plagued with the same kind of everyday problems, just like all the rest of us normal people. She has a way of digging down deep into your soul and making you feel her characters pain, joy, confusion, guilt, triumphs, and yes...even their deep abiding love. And she's one of the best when it comes to weaving all the completely different characters together so seemlessly, throughout each and every story. Her dialogue between friends, family, and sometimes even their enemies is always so spot on, especially with all of the bickering remarks made between siblings. With that said; I didn't think anyone could ever come close to drawing me into another fantastic fantasy world and it's cast of warm, lovable characters like she did, and still does with the Gansett series. But...I have to admit...'The Butler, Vermont Series' is coming in at a close second place, so far.Grayson and Emma meet in the previous book, 'Ain't She Sweet', at the wedding of Hunter Abbott and Megan Kane when Emma's sweet nine-year-old daughter, Simone strikes up a very unusal, but very funny conversation with Grayson. As soon as Emma walks up to berate her daughter for bothering Grayson, that's all she wrote! The two of them couldn't have been more taken by the other if they tried. Sparks flew, the heat sizzled, and before you knew it they were in so deep to even try to crawl out unscathed. But the big problem is....they live 600 miles away from each other, and they have no idea how they could ever find a way to make a relationship work out between them. Will they find a way to stay together, or will the distance and the lives they've built for themselves become too much to handle?Got to love those lovable, and funny patriarchs, also known as Molly, Linc, and ( Molly's father) Elmer. Then again, you'd have to have a real sense of humor after raising ten really rambunctious, and very competitive kids, right? And Fred.....who doesn't love that big lug? And sweet little Simone was a real treasure, for sure. She sure kept them all on their toes.I can't wait to read the next installment. Marie, you've got to find a way to write faster. Just kidding. lol! Great job, keep them coming.

Another hit for Marie!
Another fantastic book from Butler. These books just suck you in and before you know where you are you are back 'with family' in the middle of their bickering, fun, laughter, love, protection and meddling, and nobody does family madness, love and interfering like the Abbotts! We have met Grayson, Emma and Simone numerous times and each time they steal a little more of your heart.......well actually Simone just runs in and takes the whole thing the first time you meet her! Grayson and Emma deserve a happy ending more than anyone and the hope of them finding this happy ending together has you hoping, praying, turning page after page until before you know it you have finished the book!Read it in one sitting and loved it!

Hits the Heart
Marie this book hit me right in the place that counts the most my heart. I am to a single mother who found her very own prince charming. He too has too my child on and gets that she is my main priority. The live story between Emma and Gray is one of my favourites. How he is with Simone melts my heart. I think this book just goes to show that some men can stand up and be the partner and daddy. The support system in Vermont is amazing. Your books are 1 in a million.

Enjoyable story but....
Just finished book 7 of the Green Mountain series and enjoyed Grayson and Emma's story. I love the Abbott family, their Vermont community and Fred! Marie Force has a talent for wonderful, engaging characters, I just wish she would ease off on the graphic sex. I have a fairly enthusiastic approach to sex but found myself skipping the pages (and pages) of graphic sex scenes - not to mention references to "back door" sex. Less is more Marie!

Ok but unrealistic
I really liked the storyline and the love story between the characters. But seriously, it all happens within a week of them meeting!? Its just too unrealistic. Would have been better if it was spread out over more time.
