Review: It Actually Works! No Water or Goo Required! - I’ve spent three to $400 getting every kind of ant moat dish, bowl and tray you can imagine. I have a massive ant problem and always have. I purchased the one that you have to put water in, but as soon as the water dries up from the hundred plus degree heat for months in the desert, the ants start climbing on top of it. That’s when I realize there’s no more water left. The small bowls you put a tiny bit of water in are pointless! The food gets in that crack and the ants climb right over it into the bowl and the water dries up fast. I bought the other one that you have to put kind of like a Vaseline on the legs and it’s very messy. And when debris gets stuck on the Vaseline, the ants can climb right over it. This one is much smaller and I wish they would make a rectangle one with a lip on it for fitting two bowls. Even put a lip on this one and make larger sizes. But this thing is genius. I thought, how could it possibly work but it tricks the ants when they go up inside it and I guess they are in kind of a maze and eventually have to come back out because they can’t get to the top. No water. No goo. Sure it’s a little pricey but so were the other ones and it works. That’s honestly all I care about. It’s a one time purchase and I’m done. I just bought a second one. Thank you to the engineer who designed this. You are a genius. Now build one with a lip all around it so other types of bowls don’t fall off.
Review: I was skeptical, but it actually works! - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was skeptical, but it actually works! I bought this for a stray cat we were feeding outside because living in Florida meant we were constantly dealing with ants getting into his food. I was throwing away so much cat food because of it! I was honestly skeptical that this would work, but the price was reasonable enough that I figured it was worth a try. I was blown away! It really does keep the ants out. The ONLY time I’ve found ants in the food is when I accidentally placed it too close to tall grass or something else that was touching or hanging over the dish, basically giving the ants another way to climb onto it. As long as I keep it in a clear area where nothing is touching it, it works 100% of the time for us. Such a simple solution to a really frustrating problem. I would absolutely purchase this again and highly recommend it!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No More Ants
*by R***K on September 12, 2026*

We had a feral cat family show up so we started putting food and water out for them on a concrete porch. The water wasn’t a problem but ants flooded the soft and hard food bowls. We ended up having to throw away significant amounts of the food because of the ants in and on it. Since buying these trays, we have not had one ant in the food. The ants are not gone from the area because if the cats spill some hard kibble on the ground, that brings the ant parade back again but only on the spilled food and NOT in the bowls. I was honestly skeptical about these but they really do work, and they work great. A great food (and money) saver!
