The Pen stays in
Many of the reviews I read complained about the pen. It does not fall out and the holder is nice. It does not appear that it will rip or tear. As for the pen slot being on the bottom... I don't have a problem with this. Flip it over. It looks the same. Overall this is a great case! I can use it in different directions and it's sturdy. I would recommend this product as I have no complaints.

Not good
It's quite bully and looks cheap. There are better ones from UK. This one was shipped from USA, to return it you need to find UPS and print the label. So not that easy. Stay away from this one as there are much better and cheaper from UK!

Hard to find cases
I love this case as it fits perfectly for the Remarkable 2, but there are 2 things I would do to improve it. 1- some kind of magnet to band to keep the case closed when not in use. Secondly, the pencil holder on the back is some weird color that doesn't really match the case, but that is just a minimal detail.

Good idea but poorly build...
This case can help hold your tablet for the purpose of reading. But once you start holding it, you will notice that the back-flap starts to swing. Secondly, if one tries to highlight or write a quick note while using the case, it will be quite clear that the case is just not strong enough to hold the tablet steady. This completely diminishes the purpose of the ReMarkable tablet. In addition, the materials are just not good enough to justify the cost. The "pen-holder" on the back is so loose that it looks very used. Not impressed.
