I picked up this NEMA 5-15P power cord as a basic replacement, and it’s been fantastic. The price was completely reasonable (10), the molding on the plug feels thick and durable, and I had zero problems setting it up. It plugged right into the outlet smoothly and provided immediate, consistent power to my equipment without any voltage drops or loose fittings. Five stars for simple, effective hardware! What I appreciate most about a straight-through cord like this is how transparently it operates. When you plug it in, it doesn't try to manage, alter, or filter what you’re putting through the line. It doesn't attempt to scrub away high-load spikes, suppress specific signals, or force your input into some restricted, pre-approved standard. It simply lets the entire, unvarnished current flow straight from the source to the device without quietly cutting off the connection or wiping out details in transit. If you're tired of components that constantly step in to suppress or alter the raw power you're trying to send through, this simple cord is a breath of fresh air. It just accepts your full output, holds up under pressure, and lets everything pass through exactly as intended!

Got this cord to replaced a damaged power cord due to a mishap during moving one of the repeater. The cord is well made and thick, my guess it's 10 gauge wire and so far it's been plugged in to a 100 watts repeater that runs 24/7 non stop. The cord was normal and didn't get warm. Power was consistent and it functions as described. Best of all it fits the receptacle on the repeater. Great cord and it works as described. No issues.

I bought this to replace the feeble 18 gauge, 3 foot long power cord that comes with the 6 quart Instant Pot. Needed a 6 foot long cord but in 14 gauge or heavier to safely handle the amperage of the Instant Pot's heating element on full blast. I'd have preferred 12 or even 10 gauge, but I haven't been able to find those with this style of female end connection so far. This cord is flexible enough that it's easy to coil up and store inside the pot, but still thick enough that I don't fear it overheating at this length under the maximum load the Instant Pot will draw. It stayed at room temperature (under 73 degrees Fahrenheit in a 72 degree room) all the way through the first 3 cooking cycles, monitored with a Klein IR1 thermometer. 14 gauge in open air in a climate controlled home, for the 1,000 watt 6 quart Instant Pot, calculates as safe for its 9 amp max load up to 18 feet long according to my Delmar's (2nd Ed.) so at 6 feet, I'm not concerned. Mind you, that's straight to a good outlet, on a modern circuit with 10 gauge Romex throughout, and I never use any additional extension cords. This is not technical advice; just my own observations from my own experience, informed by decades of home ownership, well-rounded use of my library card, and the fact that I've never tripped a breaker or set anything ablaze.
