Extremely good product for what I need, which is a way to affix clothing to a clothesline outside for air drying, which is desirable or even wise in some cases, when that clothesline has been sheathed in three-foot sections of garden to promote faster drying because of the greater distance thus introduced between parts of garments, sheets, etc. hanging down on either side of the line. Normal clothes pins will not work---their jaws do not open enough---but these, designed to affix towels, etc. to beach chairs when it's breezy, work just fine. The jaws are serrated some, so old socks are wise as buffers when pegging something delicate, like perhaps a lace tablecloth, but otherwise, they could not do a better job.

These are great for hanging towels out to dry or creating some late afternoon shade from the side. My first impression was that the springs are a little weak, but when I put them to use they held strong when we were moving along at a good speed. My bimini top uses the 1 1/4" square tubing and the clips were large enough to go around them even when wrapped with our thickest towels.

Clips were as described and neatly packaged in groups of 6 in a plastic wrap and not just a loose jumble. Can be opened to about 2-inches. Wide enough to clip a tablecloth to a table or a towel to a beach chair.
