The Perfect Remedy
PERFECT! I thought I was going to spend a ton of dough on a new truss rod. Nope! This took about 1 split second to work and now my guitar is all dialed in. Thanks to the Stew Mac video on you tube which made me give this a shot. Well worth the price!

The right tool for the job…
I struggled for weeks to get that rounded truss rod, to no avail. Took me 10 seconds once I had the proper tool. This thing really does the trick. Great tool, highly recommended. Just make sure to order the correct size for your guitar’s truss rod.

Overpriced but effective
Works great, helped save a cheap glarry bass with a destroyed truss rod that was probably cheap metal. It’s too expensive but there’s no better options.

Worked like a charm!
I’ve been rebuilding one of my old electric guitars and the truss rod but had stripped in it and it desperately need an adjustment. Finally managed to get it done once this came in. I love it.

Just what I needed...you might too
Simple yet great tool for those slightly rounded truss rod adjustments. i have a dozen or so hex wrenches, so with ball end, some not. Even one that came with neck. They all slipped while trying to adjust truss rod. Plus they were hard to maneuver with string tight (as should be done). The long shaft and tapered end made it a snap...easy...mission accomplished. Get one or the set if you are a luthier

Can confirm will NOT fit ESP/Ltd headstocks! Also its a PAIN to return
Listen to the other reviewer who mentioned it didn't fit his ESP. He's right. I thought I might be an exception since my model was slightly different (EC-50 Indonesian made neck) but nope, no clearance to get the thing in. Fit and finish of the product was very good, but alas I won't get to use it! Fenders have a U shaped dip where headstock meets fretboard, so it's not a problem for them. Just be aware of this if you are an ESP player. I'm 50/50 that the special one for Semi Hollow bodies might fit with its strange Z shape but at $35 I don't want to take a gamble again. I will have to return this. Also, I didn't get my StewMac sticker, which I was looking forward to. Update: The return process for this item is ABYSMAL. The whole reason I used Amazon in the first place was easy returns. They are making me purchase my own shipping label and provide my own packaging. So I am basically paying about $10 for no reason at all for box etc for a tool I have to give back. It's also taking time out of my day. They are using USPS so its not like a UPS where you just drop it on their desk as is and they take care of everything. After the annoying experience of not being able to adjust the rod, PLUS the hassle and money of the return process, I have to deduct a further star.
