Not a water quality sensor. If it's flashing after a week that just means the light needs to be reset. Then it will flash in 2 months. Thereโ€™s no weird taste and the water filter holds a large amount and taste great! ### โญโญโญโญโญ Great Tasting Water without all the Hastle of an Inline System *by J***O on April 8, 2026* General: Package was as described, well packed and arrived on time. Utilization: Tip#1: Be sure to follow the instructions for setup. The filter needs to be soaked in clean cold water for 10 minutes prior to utilization. This needs to be repeated if left dry for a long period of time. After proper setup the product works very well. The water tastes great! I will note that proper expectations are needed, in that this is not a high pressure inline water filter. It does take a little time to filter the added water but nothing outrageous. We are able to add about a half-gallon at a time and within 7-8 minutes it filters through that, and then we add the second half. The design is great in that it will empty all added water to empty of you so chose, no constant standing amount of water that there is an unknown timeframe that it has existed in the container. Filter has lasted a while and the pricie of replacment filters was a big plus in our purchase decision. The size is a great fit for a refrigerator or countertop if you rather natural water temp.
