TRYMAG 50Pcs Small Fridge Magnets, 10x3mm Strong Neodymium Magnets

Firstly, these magnets are smaller than I anticipated, but they offer the size on the description; I was too lazy to get up and look for a ruler. Secondly, I have a set of large rattlesnake eggs (magnets that make a buzzing sound when snapped together). I bought more to play with, that are metallic rainbow colored, and they snap together to make a buzzing sound. I also have a magnetic ball that also makes the buzzing sound against the egg shaped magnets. I hold the “eggs” above the ball and it snaps up and makes a sound. I tried this maneuver with a few of the magnet disks, and the top disk broke into four pieces. I also made the same mistake with the long rectangle magnets, and one broke in half and again chipped. The interesting thing about magnets when they break is there is no possible way to piece them back together, once they break. They become polar opposites. That’s too bad, because they would’ve made fun puzzles if they did snap back together. The magnets are very strong. I took two and put them on both sides of my earlobe and they stuck. They don’t stick on both sides of my hand when using just one magnet, but a pair of two magnets - one set on my palm-side-up and the other set under my hand - will promote the set in my palm to flip when I move the set under my hand. Three magnets will barely attract enough to stick on both the palm and top of hand, but if I move my hand, they will disconnect and drop. I cannot take stars for the breakage of the magnets, because it’s not a manufacturer’s defect. There are a couple of dents in the magnets, but even that is, in my opinion, an event expected to occur; it doesn’t effect the function of the magnets. I have a metal desk lamp that I use to hang all my metal pens, and magnetic items on; the pieces that broke still stick to the metal, and can hold metal pens, my nail file, paper clips, safety pins, etc. so it’s not a loss, really. If anything, it taught me an interesting lesson about breakage becoming instantly polarized, and how fragile thin magnets can be. Don’t drop the magnets, and don’t allow them to “jump up” or “drop down” to another magnet from a distance; whether combined with other magnets or by itself. They can easily break. I do have a purpose for these. I like to glue them on items like non-metallic pens, my outlet remote, my pulse-ox case, etc. so I have quick and easy access to my frequently used items that I stick to my metal desk lamp. Yes, it looks tacky. I keep an airtight box nearby to store all these items in on Thanksgiving Day when I invite people over for turkey (except this year). But normally, I prefer convenience over appearance, so these magnets do come in handy. I would recommend these, but I would also warn about the frailty of the magnets.

These magnets are everything I wanted and more. I am making a chore chart and wanted jewel magnets to go on it. Couldn’t find anything that was exactly what I wanted, so I decided to make my own! The package with three different magnet sizes is what I chose. I think in my video I said it was a 30 pack, but it’s actually a 60 pack: 20 of each size (10 mm, 8 mm, and 6 mm). Originally I started gluing the largest size (10 mm) onto the back of my acrylic gems, because that was the size I planned on using. But after making a couple, I realize that these are much stronger magnets than I anticipated! I switched over to the tiniest size because I feel like that would be more manageable for my children to use. The 10 mm magnets are strong enough that they can hold a piece of cereal box cardboard onto the refrigerator! These little suckers do the job. I’m almost afraid my super glue isn’t going to be strong enough and I might have to re-glue my acrylic gems! I stuck a couple of my finished magnets on the side of my stainless fridge and scraped them around a little to see if they would scratch the surface. No scratches that I could see! Huge plus there. I tested all three sizes on my pointer finger, and all of them are strong enough to attract each other and stay adhered to my finger through magnetism alone. I am so happy with these tiny magnets, and would definitely recommend them!!

Love these for crafts. Holds a good amount of weight. Value is worth the money. Easy to use. I hot glue things to them for adhesive purposes

I bought these for a specific purpose --- while my garage was otherwise occupied, I had to park my car in the driveway...in the hot California sun. Rather than buy a car cover for just a few weeks use, I jury-rigged my own with a painter's cloth and some of these magnets, strategically placed, to hold it to the car. They worked perfectly. Probably wouldn't have held in a strong wind but they survived a few gusts here and there. That said, as a lifelong science nerd, I love these magnets on their own for no other reason than that they're cool! When I was a kid, the Edmund's Scientific catalog was regular reading material for me and Alnico magnets were the ones I wanted because they were so strong. Neodymium magnets are even better! They are incredibly powerful for their size. I wouldn't want them any smaller than these or they'd be nearly impossible to peel off your refrigerator. Stacking two or three together increases their strength and makes it easier to grab hold of them to pull them off whatever they're stuck to. One word of caution: Please do not leave these magnets lying around where small children can get to them. They would be very easy to swallow and could cause a great deal of harm.

I recently purchased the TRYMAG 50Pcs Super Strong Neodymium Magnets for a personal project and have been quite impressed with their performance. These magnets are indeed super strong, living up to their description, and have proven to be extremely useful. The strength of these neodymium magnets is noticeable from the get-go. They are powerful and effective for various applications, which I appreciate. I used them for a tool socket holder project, and they worked excellently, providing the necessary hold and strength. However, while these magnets are strong and versatile, I did notice that they are slightly less powerful than what I ideally needed for my specific project. This isn't a major downside, as they still perform very well, but it's something to consider if you require extremely high magnetic force. Another small point to note is that one of the magnets arrived broken, which was a bit disappointing. It's a minor issue in the grand scheme of things, but it's worth mentioning for those who need the full set in perfect condition. In summary, the TRYMAG Neodymium Magnets are a great buy. They offer a strong magnetic hold and are suitable for various uses. Just keep in mind their strength limitations and check the condition upon arrival.

I bought the 10 x 3 mm ones and they are extremely powerful. I like that they are not quite as dinky as some of the other ones - they are a little easier to handle.

I don’t even know why I bought magnets, but these are really good magnets. They were really strong. You can kinda use them as earrings but that just be gay but at one point, I did use it for a project and yeah

These magnets are 8mm x 1.7mm. They are average in strength for other magnets I've bought of the advertised 8x2 size. Since they are smaller than advertised they do not fit and rattle in the project that I've built

They were very weak for my application. I can't seem to find a strength claim on the listing so I can't take much away. I've worked with a lot of N48-N52 magnets, and theses are one step up from black fridge magnets. Once I doubled them up it gave me almost as much holding strength as an N48 2x3x100mm magnet broken to about 20mm length. So it is very weak for this type of magnet, but also significantly more than weak black fridge magnets. 2 of these stacked actually start being about what I'd expect for an N48 magnet of the same size, maybe even N52. Note that they are brittle, I cracked one with a slight offset while practising safe handling best practices (I guess not best practices since I slipped). But the distance separation was maybe a mm and I broke the one magnet. That isn't unheard of for these types of magnets. But places these at the lower end of quality in my experience. Could be a batch issue. I was using this to hold up a light plastic valance on 2" blinds, and it took 2thickx2wide to get the support to hold maybe 200g of plastic vertically (likely less). For a Neo magnet, with a 0.2mm separation at 15x3mm, this was weak in my experience. But this is not advertised with a rating so "strong" means less than rating worthy. It is sufficient for most light use cases. Would I recommend it for the price? Nope. I bought custom N52 magnets for roughly the same per square cm price 5 years ago, and they vastly out perform these to an embarrassing amount. Amazon may not be your optimal source of magnets, but if you just need a little strong, or are willing to stack them, they are acceptable. My advice is you can likely find better, just not on Amazon having tried, for maybe $10 more for the same or more count. Convenience tax is very high on these...but we all love the convenience.
