Puri Tech Hayward Super II 1.5HP SP3010X15AZ Replacement Motor Kit AO Smith UST1152 w/GO-KIT-2

This unit is used in many name brand setups. So I decided to get the motor from the source instead of paying for the markup of a famous name just renaming or sometimes not even renaming it. Installed into housing very easy. I wish they shipped motor with power cord or at least gave you the option to purchase it. I had to remove my old worn out cable just to get it running. Then order a cable and install it again. This was not thought out by puri tech. But the motor is quiet and works, slightly less power than original even though they are rated the same. I would buy it again.

The size was different the the one it replaced. But my home warranty covered that one. Tried to get them to replace it again. They won’t until it completely quits. Asinine. Canceled home warranty. Sorry,got carried away. Motor works great. Bought 3 year warranty along with it. 👍

Got the new motor quickly and installed it the same day. Took about 2 hours to do taking my time especially with the electrical. Housing gasket and lid o ring was wrong for my pump but luckily I was able to reuse the two original. All other seals were correct. It seems there could be a couple of different sized housing gaskets included instead of just the one. All in all a good experience.

Burned out after first used. Causing capacitor to explode . Replaced capacitor and pump still doesn't work.

On two occasions a few months apart I ordered two 1.5 hp pool pumps for two different locations and was pleasantly surprised to receive the merchandise in less than 24 hours after placing orders on both occasions. The first has been performing well for two months now, the second I installed today [different location] and its quiet and pushing water as it ought to. SATISFIED, THANKS BACK YARD P.

Bough this for the great price and included replacement gaskets. The motor seems to match up well with the last one (Hayward 1.5hp). My only gripe thus far is that the large housing ring did not fit but the original seems to be holding up well enough to re-lube and re-use. The gasket kit understandably can't have every possible size. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and hoping it's a long lasting motor.

My Hayward super pump 1.5 seized after 9 years and I was in need of a replacement motor asap. I found this pump on Amazon with the seal kit and it bolted right up and I was back in business in a few days. Very nice product .

I have bought two of the the last just under 2 years. The first one failed after 18 months the second one lasted 20 months. So get the replacement plan if you buy this
