So the lights are not difficult to install, but the biggest problem I have with them, is just like other reviews have said-- The lights are inconsistent. The lights are brightest at the beginning and dim the farther the strip goes. So you do not get a light with the same brightness all thru out. I cannot say anything about longevity, because I took them out 3 days later.

There is no consistency throughout the light strip some parts are brighter than others. Missing like Amazon is now turning into eBay with the cheap items that barely work

I had to go and get it professionally installed but after they installed it it looks magnificent it really added a nice Elegant Touch to my car

The media could not be loaded.  Do NOT buy these. The metal pieces that the fiber optic wire connects to gets EXTREMELY hot. I’ve never seen any interior lighting accessories have pieces like this that get extremely hot. Way too hot to touch after just being on for a few minutes. Installation is simple. Basically just tucking the wiring in the cracks and crevices of your doors and dash. But I can only imagine how hot these metal pieces would get when they’re on for an hour or more.The instructions are very vague and pointless. The instructions simply tell you to take your doors apart. For what???? The lights aren’t going behind your door panels! Lol. I had to seriously laugh.I installed some of it and tested the lighting. Didn’t seem very bright and the lighting seemed very inconsistent throughout the wiring. I turned out all the lights in my car and garage and yeah, still the same results in pure darkness. Looked horrible. I think all the video reviews on this are fake. They all have weird music and all the videos look nearly the same.If you had someone “professionally” install this for you, they’d probably laugh.But again, when I felt those metal pieces getting so hot, I said no way. All I can see is my truck going up in flames because of these things. Now if this was an exterior accessory, I don’t see a problem with it, but interior against plastic and other wiring? NOT a good idea. This thing should be pulled off Amazon ASAP. I’m not over exaggerating either. I seriously feel this item is a safety and fire risk.I immediately pulled out all the wiring and threw the whole thing away. This is not worth my truck going up in flames for some bad interior lighting. No professional is going to make these look good, and no professional will stop your car from going up in flames.

This is NOT user friendly. The company advises professional installation but locals charge a arm and a leg . You will have to remove your door panel to get this done properly . This would be great if you know a professional to put it in.
