(Edit: the 10$ DLC the previous poster is mentioning, is just some commentary, behind the scene type thing. I am talking about the 2 pieces of DLCs "Signal" and "Writer" which are 2 extra episodes. I play it on Windows 10. **Q: does this include the alan wake dlc?** A: No it does not and I have ordered two of these and each copy did not work with the passcode I had to order it download online at steam to get the game to actually work **Q: Do I need the disk or can I download online?** A: I tried twice with two different physical discs to launch the game it would not accept authorization codes so I eventually had to use the online download method to get the game to even run so my suggestion would be to not bother with the physical disc at all. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No issues - Activates on Steam *by M***T on July 11, 2018* The item arrived wrapped in plastic foil, I opened the disc box to find two discs inside, along with two key codes.I entered the key codes on Steam, they activated without issues, and now I own both games in my Steam Library.*ALAN WAKE IS REMOVED FROM THE STEAM STORE BY THE WAY*Haven't had the need to use the discs at all.Also, the games are pretty amazing, but reviews for the games themselves can be found on other websites. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Classic games at great price *by W***W on April 14, 2018* I might be able to offer some valuable help to potential buyers. I am a console gamer making the switch to PC. This was my first physical copy of a PC game. Both discs are included. When I first opened it there was a piece of paper with a code on it. I put the disc 1 in my PC, clicked install and it brought up my Steam software and asked for a key code. Well, I entered the whole code, not realizing the first line was Alan Wake, the second line was American Nightmare. So, if you're newer to PC games there's something helpful. Just enter the first line of the code for Alan Wake. It works fine and now Alan Wake shows up in my Steam Games. Put disc 2 in and put the second line of code in for the key code and American Nightmare is now in my Steam Games. It worked perfect. Really great deal for a classic game that's slowly disappearing because of copyright issues with the music.
