Garage Door Bottom Weather Seal T-Style 3 3/4 Wide 5 1/6 "T" (9')

Replaced the seal on my 30+ yr old Clopay, 9' wide and about 1.5" thick door. This matched the width of the one that came off the door. The product was very pliable. You want that so it flexes when installing and when the door closes. I dont think the 3 inch wide versions that are on Amazon will work so well as they will be more troublesome to squeeze in the U shape needed to install it smoothly. This one worked perfectly. It slid right in without any lubricants. To help keep the U shape when sliding it in I used a short 2 foot length of broom handle inserted into the feed end to keep the "T"s square in the aluminum slots with the right U shape. This would not work with the less wide versions. Overall very happy with the fit and smooth installation. The price was also the lowest I found. Will purchase another for the second garage door.

Good quality with easy installation

replaced the bottom seal on 3 mid-90's Clopay doors with the double T tracks on them. Some jerk had buried screws into the T-track on the original install to keep the track from moving, had to use a uni-bit or step drill style drill to remove the damage enough to get the original track to slide out, this has no bearing on this manufacturer but made a 5 minute install into 30 as I had to hunt down the necessary equipment. This seal slid right in after removing the burrs and was installed in roughly 5 minutes by 1 person. I installed 2 more for a family member and with their help, it took less than 2 minutes to install the new seal. It does feel a bit flimsy compared to the older material that was in the door, this is accounting for the dry rot and hardening that had occurred; it was/is just a bit thinner than the original material. I expect to get roughly 10 years from this; time will tell.

As far as ease to install definitely 6 star, took 3 minutes to slide into track, will update on how it holds up and functions

I wish I had replaced the garage weather seal years ago. Replacing all three garage door weather seals took about 25 minutes from beginning to end and was a one-person job. The old ones were gray but had disintegrated after many snowy winters to the point that they were full of holes and cracks. These new ones are black and slid into the grooves easily. Even folding over the ends was easy, and the new seals have stopped the drafts in the garage and look fresh and clean.

Pull the old seal off. Spray the track first with lubricant and take your time slide in the new weather seal. Easy work and if it comes out of the track just start over. Leave extra length because it shrinks. I've cut them what I thought was just right in the past only to find they shrink then the mice have a good entrance point!

This was used to seal a garage door aligned with some sinking concrete. The big box product I purchased initially was narrower (creating a smaller channel) and left a gap in some places once installed, allowing the perfect spot for small rodents and other pests to enter the garage during winter months. Because this product is ordered by the foot, I was also able to purchase the exact amount I needed to allow some overlap at the ends without having to upgrade to the next available (and thus oversized) product carried by the big box stores. The price was competitive and the product is exactly what I needed for my application. Delivery was on time and the product is as exactly as described. I would definitely order again when I need to replace the gasket.

Works great. Installation is challenging. Recommend spraying WD-40 in the slots to help the rubber slide. Also whichever end you plan on sliding it into, use a small file to round over the sharp edges to keep the rubber from getting snagged on the metal.
